I might have to vehemently disagree on that one, Marcdachamp. Breakfast sausage can be quite disgusting. Bacon, on the other hand, is bacon. Even over or under cooked bacon is still bacon, and therefore delicious.

Wow, no! I've had some hideous breakfast sausage at restaurants in the past. To the point that I'll almost always order bacon instead when given the option unless I know the place and know that I like their breakfast sausage. Bacon is rarely a problem of any sort, except for maybe being TOO delicious!
Those baconcakes look good...I might have to try them the next time I'm making breakfast.
They look almost as good as the bacon pancakes at the Original Pancake House:

At first glance, I thought that batter pitcher said "Hova" on the side of it and I was even more excited about that than the bacon pancakes.
I had bacon pancakes a few years back but the bacon was chopped up and mixed in with the batter-- pretty decadent.
