I saw this was available on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0785144242/ref=s9_simh_gw_p14_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-3&pf_rd_r=0FP811Y3VZ9PQQ7Z4QY2&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938811&pf_rd_i=507846
I'll probably wait for the paperback but I'm curious if anyone liked this? I heard nothing after the first issue hit.

I have the mini in the trade thread. I'd let it go for something pretty easy. I didn't enjoy it.
It was pretty dumb. I wouldn't bother with it.

It was good.
If you liked the original story you'll get a kick out of this. It certainly isn't the way the story would have ended originally even though it was described as such but it's a decent alternate take on the story.

I was really disappointed with it, and I was a big fan of the original clone saga (Hey, I was in middle school when it came out! It was my first spidey)

From the product description:
From the minds behind the crossover that changed comics forever and the artist that introduced Spider-Man to President Obama.
Is that really the artist's best selling point for this particular book?

Same here! Have you bought the massive TPB of the original? I have it sitting here, just haven't got around to it yet. As for the newer version, I haven't read it, but I do like that cover!

Love the cover. It's Chris Cross, I think.

I actually enjoyed it. It was a pretty streamlined version with a new ending which I think I would have really enjoyed as the longform solution to the whole thing. But I seem to be in the minority for having enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it. If you were a fan of the original I think you'll dig it too.
Got the huge trade of the original on the way to my house. Looking forward to cracking that open.

I bought the original when it came out but it forced me out of comics eventually. I couldn't afford it, and then I went to college and wanted to hide my nerdiness -- until I realized, I could exploit my nerdiness to my benefit.

I enjoyed it, but not going to be anywhere near the top of my re-read pile.

I haven't bought the massive tpbs yet. I have all but two issues of the series (Lost years 0 and a new warriors tie in) and once I find them I'm going to get mine bound.
