International board members please come out and tell me/us where you are from.
I know a good deal of you is from canada, the UK and germany and of those countries I could easily name a few of the top of my head.
But what about other countries? do we have French board members? Spanish? Italian? Polish? Australien? Russian? African? Antarctican? Kryptonian?

I'll start:
I was born in Poland, but moved to Germany when I was about two years old. and lived here ever since. except for one semester in the US in 2008.

yeah, you are on the list of people I could name, if asked.
but I can't believe there doesn't seem to be a regular poster from France or am I overlooking someone?

Why so concerned about French posters?

They're certainly not going to tell you if they are for fear of invasion.

you got it. damn, my plan was destroyed.
no. I posted about the first german free comic book day yesterday and was interested if other countries besides the US and Germany have those. Since comics are waaaaaay bigger, more popular and cheaper in france, I assumed we had some french posters. but I have don't recall ever seeing someone from france post here. but bendis stuff sells pretty well in germany, because nearly all his marvel stuff gets published all the time.
the majority of foreign posters is from either canada, somewhere in the uk or germany. I can name 5 german posters at least. but other then that not that many other people from european nations.

there is always the slight reflex in me, that whenever someone from the US brings up nazis, because of the country I live in, to remind them of what they did to the native americans and the japanese.
but most of the time I let it be.

There is always a slight reflex in me to roll my eyes when someone takes a joke a little too seriously.Especially when it's about stuff that happened 30 - 40 years before they were born.

Why would something that happened before my father was born, and when my family wasn't even a part of the United States bother me?

Urgh, yeah, Belgium looks rather crazy too on the tax issue:

I just read that in Denmark there are now more people living off wellfare and government aid than there are people working for a living... we finally broke over to being leech society #1 :-(

Don't you have a extreme right-wing government anymore?
I think I remember a few years ago you got an extreme rightwing party help form a government.

And still, you remain a welfare state?

There are two pretty-far right wing government parties, supported by the rightiest righty-right wing party... so yeah, all in all horribly far right.

And believe me, they're trying every trick in the book to stop the welfare, both locally and internationally... however, it seems that support is failing, people are getting fed up with the constant "we need to save money" crap, so we will most likely get a left-wing/center government next time around.
