And I understand you may very well get even more awesome flavor mixing more than 2 of these, but I just want the best one on one combo.

1.Peanut butter & jelly

Jelly.

Bananas are good too, but it's more of a rare treat than something I crave.
I should try honey...looks good. Honey on toast is also awesome.
I think I'm the only person in the world that doesn't like fluff.

I see that of the 15 of you to see the thread, only 1 has voted. Good, it must mean you are taking this vote seriously, and being very deliberate in your consideration.

I think I agree with you about jelly vs. bananas. Both are very good, but pb&j is a staple.

On a related note, peanut butter should be smooth, not crunchy. http://www.rpi.edu/~pedrok/armscrossed.gif

So tough. Being a boston guy, Fluff has a special place in my heart, but peanut butter and banana is pretty damn delicious.

I just enter your polls to see how you messed up the question this time around.

For example, you ask "what goes better with peanut butter" and your choices are "peanut butter & jelly", "peanut butter & fluff", etc. Shouldn't it just be "jelly", "fluff", etc?

:)

Chocolate is great on a toasted PB sandwich. Use squares of semi-sweet.

I thought of that as well. I figure there would be no confusion so left it unedited.

Also, people in the UK don't eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I feel bad for all of those people that don't have these in their cultures.

Agreed. Definitely prefer Jam over Jelly. Easier to spread, and has a more rich flavor.

When I was serving food part-time in high school, I once took an order of a "peanut butter and onion sandwich." The chef made a peanut butter sandwich and put the onions on the side, saying he refused to combine them himself.

Well, technically, I chose Fluff, because I chose 'em all!

Fluff is the most indulgent out of them all...the sinful treat.
Jelly is the 'comfort' combo.
Honey and bananas are both the healthier choices, but still delicious nonetheless.

Problem is, I don't think any one goes better with peanut butter than another - they're all great. If the question was, 'which of these is your secret peanut butter indulgence', then Fluff would have been my top choice.

the correct answer is bananas. although the picture is wrong. you're supposed to slice the banana down the middle, then cut the long pieces in half. those four pieces fit much better on the bread than a bunch of banana circles.

Bah.. messed up.. usually it's PB&J.. alternately, PB & Honey, or PB+Banana+Honey.

And yeah, I slice the banana that way as well.

Alternately, you can take a tortilla, smear it with peanut butter and roll up your banana in it. It's a quick and easy sandwich and if you go the wheat route, it's even better.

Strawberry

Apple

My blood pressure and cholesteral were WAY the fuck up around summer of last year, so I had to go on medication...

AND alter my eating habits...

...which meant no Peanut Butter.

This is akin to saying "no caffeine" or "no sex". Hardest thing I've ever done, as I usually would have 2 PB sammiches a day.

My favorite combo, you have not listed. PB with regridgerated Mrs. Richardson's Hot Fudge Sauce. 5 bazillion calories per sammich.
