Defamer has really championed the cause. Apparently, Owen Wilson himself has been made aware of the nickname by his friends. And it just now showed up on IMDb.

According to the imdb bio, he and brother Luke were originally going to be the brothers in Ocean's 11, which would have been pretty cool.
