Didn't check out the link, but the concept certainly sounds great. I was just thinking the other day, wondering why organic oils couldn't be used in plastic production. (I'm sure there is one, I just don't know it.) So after this is developed into usefulness, we can start converting engines to alcohol and lift the trade embargo on Brazilian ethanol. It'd be nice if the only oil we needed for our cars was to lubricate them. Now THAT would make Opec shit their pants.
