Deal with it.

I feel like I'm grandfathered in, since I've been doing it since like 1982.

I love popped collars on Polo shirts. It allows you to tell who is a douche from across the street.

You excepted of course Natty P.

Polo shirts are yucky.

They'll never go out of style because they're awesome.

i like a good polo style shirt now and then, but no popped collar for me. had a Northface one that finally "shrunk" too much for me to wear anymore.

I saw them like a month or so ago and they were really good. Why do you ask?

I remember the 80s. It was douchey then, too.

Do you also wear hugely feminine sunglasses, an ankle bracelet made of rope and spike your hair up? Complete with deck shoes and no socks?

*mock*

;)

If you don't care if you look ridiculous, then why should I? Enjoy.

Sorry, but the fact that you've been doing it since the 80s doesn't help your case. That's like saying "I had a mullet before they were lame, so it's cool that I have one now."

Mullets and popped collars were always lame. We hate for you to have to find out this way, but better to hear it from people who love you.

Apparently you're still rocking the Livestrong bracelet.

You know, you can still give to cancer charities without wearing it as a fashion statement.

The funny thing is, there are probably more black jeans and wolverine shirts with mountain dew stains worn by the haters in this thread than you can shake a stick at.

Takes notes.

Thank goodness we have JimboX to give us fashion advice AND advise us on our charitable giving!

What about anything in pink? I'm afraid if I wear it people might think I give to breast cancer charities.

Should I go with salmon instead?

Not one of my pet peeves, I don't even notice if someone is popping their collar.

If it wasn't for this board I doubt I'd have ever heard the term.

I have many oxfords. I don't pop the collars on those.

Penguin polos are the bomb-digitty, but you can't pop the collars unless you starch em up.

1982, huh? I think we can agree Natty has the "grandfather" aspect of this discussion down.
