MISC. FAQs

To install a game you simply insert the disc and press the Y button to bring up "Game Details" and then click on the "Install to Hard Drive" option. Installs take about 10 minutes. You'll still need to have the disc in the drive as anti-piracy/verification measure and when ejecting the disc of an installed game you'll be booted back to the dashboard just like normal. As the disc drive (noisiest part of the system) doesn't spin up, your console should sound like it does when playing a Marketplace demo.

- The 120GB HDD was slightly faster than 20GB (1 or 2 seconds) in Eurogamers testing, no word on the 60GB yet.

- There's now a 2nd language option for English that changes your virtual keyboard from ABCDEF.. to QWERTY..

- To delete demos/games from your profile (0 achievements) hit the guide button and select Achievements and then select the game you want to remove and delete it.

I think my 360 is dying again. It luckily hasn't gotten the red rings but it sputtered yesterday and while the middle light lit up, the rings didn't light up until I smacked the side.

I figure I'll just buy a new Arcade one and slap my old harddrive onto it.

Started Bioshock 2 last night. The intro/cut scenes didn't grab me like the first one, but the gameplay and world are quickly sucking me back in.

With Noble picking up FFXIII on the PS3, thus forgoing any achievements, I know we're at the end of an era. I was hoping to see that he actually played 'Jurassic: The Hunted'. I played that demo months ago and good God! Saw it had been marked down to 20 bucks at Wal-Mart...wasn't surprised. It has now usurped 'Pimp My Ride' as my 'go to reference' for a bad game.

I haven't played any 'bad' games in quite a while now.

But this is the first time I've picked a PS3 version over a 360 version, so now I really am over the whole achievement thing.

If I get em I get em.

I know I've already missed some in Bioshock 2 because I didn't check to see what the secret achievements were.

And I'm not really feeling Bioshock 2 for that matter.

It just seems like more of the same...which is sometimes a good thing, but it seems to be a chore to even get through it for me.

I want to finish it, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to slog through it.

Sweet, ground floor!!! Ladies Wear and Undergarments!

Yeah, the more I keep hearing the less it sounds like there is much of a difference at all in the 360 and PS3 versions of FFXIII. Sounds to me like the "Better Cut Scenes on PS3" stuff is about as noticeable as the "Better Frame Rate on 360" stuff to me. Went to Gamestop today to make certain my copy is paid off but also to put down $10 on UFC 2010 and another $10 on Red Dead Redemption. Since I have nothing else on the horizon until May now it shouldn't be too bad paying those two games off by then. Aside from FFXIII which I'll get tonight at midnight here are the other games I own that I still need to finish in no particular order:

Smackdown Vs. Raw 2010 (just one more RTWM)
Brutal Legend (I am barely into this one)
Skate
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 (on the Pro-Reg side)
Forza 2 (never even played it)
TNA Impact
Modern Warfare 2 (I'm close to the end of the campaign)
Dragon Age (still real early in it for me)
Resident Evil 5 (just the latest DLC, I finished the full game and the first DLC)
Assassin's Creed 2 (Ep. 12 and 13 DLC)
Gears of War (about halfway done)
Gears of War 2 (waiting to finish the first one)
Dead Space (I'm only like an hour into this)
Fable 2
Justice League Heroes(I bought it for dirt cheap for reg. Xbox and almost have it finished)
Street Fighter 4
Oblivion (I'm like 30 hours in but feel like I've done almost nothing)

I watched a comparison video of PS3 vs 360 and it really didn't look very noticeable.

From what I've read it is only the cut-scenes that are weaker on the 360. I've even heard that frame-rate is actually better on the 360 but it's the cut-scenes that were ported over and encoded poorly that bring the 360 version down.

Brad N.
03-09-2010, 08:31 AM
Yeah, the cut scenes look amazingly beautiful on my 360 version so I can't imagine there is that much of a difference.

I'll be starting Final Fantasy XIII sometime tonight or tomorrow but I wanted to see if anyone checked out Sonic and Sega All-stars Racing. I got the game with some credit from Gamestop and it's actually pretty cool. It's basically Mario Kart for the 360. My only complaint is that they don't allow Grand Prix mode online, just single races.

Anyway, it's just a fun game. I haven't gotten the chance to play with anyone that's on my friends list on Live so if you have it and you want to play sometime, send a friend request/invite sometime. My gamertag is Invincible25x.

God I hate hoarders.

Apparently, last night, someone at CAG posted a deal they found on the back of a Netflix envelope. You enter your gamertag and a code and you get a free month of Xbox live (stackable I might add)

And for a while, people were giving out codes to board members (same at NeoGAF), but then someone copies the deal onto Slickdeals.

I kid you not, here's one post:

I got 104 of these today between me and my girlfriend. I kept 16, I sold 12, and I gave away 76 to friends. I don't think it's pathetic to sell a few.

I wouldn't even have gotten that many but I know firstly that most people would have tried to make money, and that a bunch of SD bee otches would get most.

I apologize to nobody.

Grrr Buk, your peeps may have lost me for Conviction. 6-7 freaking hours for the single player campaign? And then the only multiplayer is 2 player co-op and 1 vs 1 competitive? I think that I may just have to wait til it goes on sale cause this is kind of disappointing news.

the multiplayer looks ok but only 2 verses is silly.

Anyone having any issues with FFXIII not saving..? I get the Eidolon, Odin and every time I do a save, it drops me back to the beginning of chapter four. I've had to retrace everything four times and each time it puts me back further. It's driving me nuts.

Should I be saving over one file again and again, or should I be using the save box that automatically shows up on the save. I've never had this issue come up. I have 10G in my memory, so this shouldn't be an issue.

Anyone having any issues with FFXIII not saving..? I get the Eidolon, Odin and every time I do a save, it drops me back to the beginning of chapter four. I've had to retrace everything four times and each time it puts me back further. It's driving me nuts.

I'm not sure, but I THINK it might have happened to me on chapter 3. At the part where your party is in that crystal temple thing (just before you fight that big bird creature) I swear I saved it right before you go over the pile of rubble but when I started my game again it started me at the save point before it. I shrugged it off thinking maybe I forgot to save, but I don't think so since I've made a stink about the fact that you have to use stupid save points to begin with and I've made a point to save at every one of them.

I beat Bioshock 2 this past weekend with the "good" ending.

My thoughts:

I really dug the game, I loved that they threw in the ability to play as a Little Sister at the end and see the world through their eyes. And the ability to actually summon a Big Sister at the end was great too. I felt that it could have used more traditional boss battles though.

When you beat Bioshock 2, do you keep all the stuff you got from your first play through or not? I haven't checked yet.

As a longtime JRPG fanatic, I'm ashamed to say I've been mostly neglecting FFXIII (beat Anima but I stopped there for now) and playing Mass Effect nonstop for the last two days. :surrend:

It's not that FFXIII isn't good, it's really good but Mass Effect just has this weird hold on me right now where I'm thinking "just one more level up/sidequest" and then somehow it tricks me into keep going for another hour.

Xbox 360 gaining USB storage support in spring 2010 update

Documentation obtained by Joystiq – and subsequently confirmed with two separate sources – reveals that "USB Mass Storage Device Support on Xbox 360" will soon be a reality. The document, authored by a senior software development engineer at Microsoft, states that due to "increased market penetration of high-capacity, high throughput USB mass storage devices, a 2010 Xbox 360 system update" will allow consumers to save and load game data from USB devices. The update is purportedly coming in Spring 2010.

Once the update occurs, Xbox 360 owners will be able to download Xbox Live Arcade games, Xbox Live Indie games, Games on Demand, DLC and Title Updates to the storage device. "USB storage devices may, however, have far greater memory capacity than MUs (at the date of writing, the largest MU is 512 MB), and may therefore support previously infeasible operations-such as installation of a full disc-based title." That's right, you can also store disc-based games to the USB device; however, it will require the disc to be in the tray for authentication, identical to the current functionality.

Splinter Cell Conviction demo?

Anyone?

I played it last night and wasn't super impressed. Mark and execute is kind of cool. I was hoping for something a little more actiony, but it still felt kind of slow and clunky like the old Splinter Cells. I'm going to play through another time or two to see if it's just me getting used to the controls....

Briomega
03-19-2010, 02:30 PM
Played through the Splinter Cell demo a few times. I'm kind of unimpressed and disappointed that we waited this long for what this ultimately is. A watered-down, casual friendly version of Splinter Cell.

Gameplay-wise, this was entirely too easy and not very fun. Yeah the executions are fun... the first few times, then it just gets old. It was way too easy to plot a course and do what was necessary. Hell, it was even way too easy just to go in guns blazing. I did that on Realistic and still took out the entire squad of bad guys. I'm used to Splinter Cell where if you are discovered, you are pretty much dead.

Then, there's the graphics. The environments and everything looked beautiful. The cut-scenes? Looked like absolute garbage. Stiff characters that barely animated. With all the delays, that's really what you put out there? :?

I could go on about the short storyline and lack of real multiplayer but I'll just stop. This is not what I wanted from a new Splinter Cell and certainly not what I expected to get after waiting through delay after delay after delay. A dumbed down version that basically plays itself is not for me. I may grab it when it hits the bargain bins, but that's about it. Very sad about this.

Yeah, that's the big complaint most of us had with the original Mass Effect. Thankfully, they fixed that for the sequel. Wait until you start the second one, it will consume you. I honestly didn't want to do anything else, and I don't get like that with games anymore.

I had the same complaints about the first Mass Effect.

The main storyline when it grabbed you and you got to the 'twists' about what was really going on was amazing, and I couldn't stop playing because I wanted to see how everything played out.

I thought Mass Effect 2 play wise, was miles above the first one. It was really solid playing game.

However the story didn't grip me as much as the first one did. It was still an awesome narrative, but it didn't have that same 'oh shit!' factor on the big reveals a Mass Effect 1 did.

I think they sacrificed a bit of the story for better playability in 2.

Don't get me wrong, I still loved the game, and I can't wait for 3, and the characters were better fleshed out in 2, but I thought the overall plot was a bit weaker.

Champions Online for Xbox 360 Scrapped (http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/22334/Champions-Online-for-Xbox-360-Scrapped/)

Replying to a question on the Champions Online forums about the console version, Cryptic Studios' Jack Emmert, posting as "Jackalope", said "100% of our focus is on making the current PC product the best it can be. There are no current plans for a console version of Champions."

This, of course, is quite the opposite of what they have been saying all along but on the other hand, it comes as no surprise as the console version's release kept getting pushed back. In an August 2009 interview, Emmert said, "It just takes time for the big beast known as Microsoft to get moving. I really have no explanation other than that, because it’s as baffling to developers as it is to everyone else."

But by all indications, work was still being done on the console version as in a November 2009 interview with GamesOnSmash a Cryptic developer said, "We’re doing a lot of work on the console version of the game right now. A separate team from the PC group is focusing on the controller scheme, console-specific UI, and overall graphics performance. The Xbox 360 version will also have the benefit of launching with all the additional content we’ve created and balancing we’re doing since the PC launch."

But any doubts as to Cryptic's current direction were removed when Emmert responded to a question over at The Big Freaking Podcast on developing a console MMO for Marvel Universe Online. "It is not happening. The console is not a current focus."

So forget about your dreams of wearing those spandex tights any time soon.

Dude just cause 2 is insanly fun. I can't remember when I last played a sandbox game that really let me do whatever the fuck I wanted and still let me advance in the game. Sure there are missions but it's a hell of a lot of fun.

Played the Demo and it was really cool. The first game was pretty good but very glitchy. Looks like they kept what was good and added a ton of stuff to boot.

I may get it at some point but I'm backed up with games right now.

I don't remember. I really like it, though.

Do weapons carry over to other difficulties? I started on Easy just to get a feel for things.

I'm pretty sure the weapons carry over. The worst thing about that game is the achievement structure. There's only 6 or something and you have to be pretty fucking special to get two of them.

Yeah, I noticed that. It's also one of the reasons I started on Easy because like so many of the older games if you complete it on the harder difficulty you don't get credit for the easier ones.

I ended up playing for like 8 or 9 hours yesterday. Thing is fucking addicting. It's like eating potato chips.

Just played the Splinter Cell demo. Shit, now I have to get that game too.

Just Cause 2 demo is great as well. I will definitely get it, but I'm put off by the lack of destructability. Bad Company 2 and Red Faction Guerrilla have really spoiled me.

Speaking of Red Faction Guerrilla- has anyone else played this? I just do not get tired of destroying buildings. Whether it's with a sledgehammer or a portable nuke, it simply does not get old. It changes the gameplay so much that it feels like I've never played anything like it.

I checked out the multiplayer for the first time today, and yep, it's fucking great. First thing I did was go to the second story of a building and blow up the staircase. Then I sniped for a good 5 minutes, since no one could get to me. My only gripe about the game is the dull environments. If they took this exact gameplay and put you in a jungle or a city, then it'd be perfect.

Looks interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't actually make it on the 360, since Age of Conan and Champions didn't actually make the leap. But it'd be nice if it did.

Well it looks like my 360 died a few hours ago, video went green and now I have no video output at all. I can hear the audio and even hear the menus and everything moving but full on no video. I'm tempted to just go buy an arcade but I'm going to see if I can borrow a component cable tomorrow to make 100% sure it's not just a cable issue.

I really don't get the Xbox Arcade thing. Nevermind the shitty games, for the most part, but what's the point of a personal arcade? I thought if you travel to a friend's arcade and they have a cabinet you'd be able to play the game but no, you can only demo it or buy it. If I have to buy the thing than why would I even bother visiting friend's arcades?

Then there's the challenges. Someone, I think it was Rantz, sent a Red Baron challenge. So I played the Demo and got a huge score but it doesn't register for the challenge. I try to accept the challenge from the Challenge menu and I have to buy the game. It wouldn't even let me do that Bonus Play thing using tokens.

I just don't see the point of this thing. Decorating a space? Well in order to actually get anything you have to raise your level which means you have to play games which means you have to spend a ton of credits. What the hell's the point?

And that doesn't even take into account that most of the games are not worth what is being charged.

I couldn't agree more. I thought the basic idea for the Arcade was neat at first, but after downloading it and finding out what it's all about this is a HUGE waste of time and space. A bunch of mostly crap throwaway games more than 25 years old in many cases, my God MS is going to make a fucking killing with this stupid shit. Here's what I really don't get - why aren't the games you already own on Live Arcade IN YOUR PERSONAL ARCADE?!? I was kind of psyched for this at first, but after downloading it I'm tempted to toss it.

If you could play games in friend's arcades, why would you ever buy them yourself? I'm not saying XBox Arcade isn't stupid, but your idea wouldn't make sense financially for Microsoft.

I assumed it was going to be something where you could buy tokens just like a real arcade and go and play anything you wanted to until your tokens ran out unless you wanted to pay for the full game. I also assumed you could play from the hundreds of XBL Arcade titles already available. I had no idea they would be charging $3 a pop for crappy old Intellivision and Atari games. There is nothing even remotely new, cool, or different about this and to me it feels like MS fleecing its customers by charging them a huge price for something they likely paid pennies for. I guess for me I had a few ideas of what it was going to be like and none of them happened.

Jesus, I had no idea you had to BUY the damn game to do the challenges... that's just flat out stupid. The way it SOUNDS is that you use your tokens, play the game, etc... that would be the SMART way to do it (as would populating your XBLA games in your arcade, AND letting you actually interact/talk shit with your friends). It seems like the kernel of a good idea, just totally squandered.

(I do love the Red Baron game though, so i was happy to get that, but any other game... why?)

Then you can use this code to get an extra $20 off: PAXEAST842. $29.95 for it brand new. Placed my order this morning. Amarnath.T - PCS: Okay Nick. From your description about the problem, I understand that you have problem in DVD Player. Am I right?

Nick Hale: no it's actually with my xbox 360 hd dvd player

Nick Hale: specifically the software for installing it

Amarnath.T - PCS: I understand. Please be informed that we will follow up with you through a call-back just in case we get disconnected. Is that okay with you?

Nick Hale: thats fine

Nick Hale: my phone is right in front of me

Amarnath.T - PCS: Before we continue, I need to gather some information and I hope you could help me out on this.

Amarnath.T - PCS: May I have your Windows Operating System Version, Edition and Service Pack Number? To check this, click on the START button, then RIGHT click on MY COMPUTER or COMPUTER and then finally choose PROPERTIES.

Nick Hale: sure

Nick Hale: this isn't with windows it's with my xbox 360

Amarnath.T - PCS: That's Ok.

Nick Hale: so i'm not sure how my PC's OS information will help...

Amarnath.T - PCS: That is not required. I should not have asked about that.

Edit - Okay those of you with HDDVD dont misplace your disk.... you've been warned.

I was enjoying Dead Space like I do most piss poor easy modern games but now I'm at that annoying point in classic survival horror where I don't have any ammo, can't aim worth a shit, don't have any health packs and no money to spare on ammo (frickin expensive LV4 armor). This game grew balls and stood up for itself like a battered house wife that won't take it anymore.

I honestly never had any issue with ammo. Supposedly they are fixing it in the sequel so that ammo is more plentiful, but I never felt at a loss ever. Half the time I ended up having to sell Ammo just to clear space in my inventory.

Did you skimp out on some of the rig upgrades?

I'm more of a defense whore myself so I've mainly been focusing on powering up the armor and saving credits on new sets which has really cut into my ammo money but since I have terrible aim, it makes more sense I guess to bolster up my ability to get slapped around like a pansy.

I really don't mind the ammo shortage to be completely honest.

That was one of the funnest things about the old RE titles, wondering how in god's name you're going to defeat a giant snake with with six pistol bullets and two acid grenade launcher rounds along with a combat knife. It keeps things tense and on your feet. Thats kind of how these games should play. Theres nothing really creepy (even if it was funner) about walking into a room with a giant weapon storage in your pocket ready to whup some ass.

It's frustrating alot of the time but I do think I prefer it that way.

Amazon has it for $39.96 for 12 months. They seem to have stopped the 12 months plus 1 :(

They also have the pack that comes with 12 months, the chatpad and PGR4 for $55.54

Mine expires on May 10th so I've been on the lookout as well.

The good news is my X-Box was only took about ten days to get fixed (well, they didn't return me my X-Box, they gave me another one, but whatever).

The crushing, horrible news is that somewhere in between the time I sent my X-Box in and the time I got it back, my hard drive has completely disappeared. I've overturned my apartment looking for it, but it's nowhere to be found. It's uncanny; I've never lost anything so absolutely before.

Of course, my X-Box died just as I had reached the last chapter of FFXIII. God, I like the game, but I was 50 hours in. I don't want this to be yet another FF game I never finish, but I don't think someone up there wants me to.

It's actually pretty good. Only get the DLC for it if you want overpowered characters though. If you get them, the only reason to get weapons in game is to get the achievment for having all weapons as the DLC are the strongest weapons.

The story is decent, though predictable, especially for readers like us who are quite shrewd when it comes to stories we read. However, the battle system is pretty fun, the characters are cool [though one female might annoy you a bit or make you smile at how cute she is, depends on the person] The battles are real time/action base and once you get used to the system, you'll be doing a lot of fighting just for fun.

Each character has a certain action they can do in battle at random moments. You'll be fighting and suddenly the B button will flash in the middle of the screen, pressing it will do somthing different depending on the character, such as the lead female turning almost dead enemies into items that you can equip to your weapons for extra abilities and enhanced stats. [You can also farm these and sell them]

The main character's action is to shatter the enemies weapons lowering their atk, and another character's is to shatter the defense of characters you otherwise do zero damage against. Graphics are really cool and once you get to a certain point in the skill trees, you unlock a "limit break" type move for each that is flashy and cool to watch.

Each character has two styles to choose from, each with it's own type of weapon [such as the main character using either one handed swords or two handed swords], each style having it's own strength as well. However it's smart to only use points on the skill tree of one style per playthrough since you'll only earn enough skill points to max out one tree by the end of the game.

There are skill point boosting items you can put on your weapons to get more but they are expensive [in fact that's where I am now, in an area farming cash and stuff to sell to equip all my characters with these.] There are plenty of side quests to do, though you can miss a lot of them so it's best to have gamefaqs handy somewhere close by so you don't miss any for good, and you definitely can.

All in all it's probably tied for second place as my favorite 360 RPG along with Lost Odyssey [Vesperia being number one] If you find it on sale, definitely check it out.

99%. I'm pretty sure I took it off immediately after the RROD, and it was sitting on top of my couch for a couple of days. Then I have no memory of it whatsoever. We even ripped open the bottom of the couch to see if it had somehow fallen into the cushions and through the lining.

But let's say I had sent it in. Would they say "Too bad so sad" and not contact me?

I really don't know, but they tell you like a million times whatever you do to detach it before sending because there is a good chance you will not get it back. IF you had sent it in I could see them chucking it since they gave you a different unit, right? Not sure why they wouldn't contact you, but if they warn you that many times there must be a reason. Hope you find it, dude.

I've been re-playing some GTA 4 lately and man, it is much worse than i remember. The controls are like trying to drive a tank underwater. I get that they made the driving controls purposely bad so as to simulate real life and all that, but jesus, it really takes away from the enjoyment. It's a shame because the graphics, layout and attention to detail is superb. When it rains, the cops even wear those plastic things on their hats. You could probably play this game every day for months and not see everything they put in the map.

Anyways, I hope that the Red Dead Redemption controls are nothing like GTA 4, or at least get tightened up considerably. If Rockstar still has a hard-on for making games feel "real", then at least have an option for an "unreal" control system in which the controls are highly responsive. Given a choice, I can't imagine many people would choose the clunkier control scheme.

I absolutely loved GTA 4. It was my favorite game of 2008. I played the hell out of it for months. I bought Lost and the Damned the day it came out. I played it once for maybe 10 minutes total. I just couldn't get back into it. I wouldn't say the controls are lousy, but compared to most games, there's definitely something missing.

This is the main reason I can't get super excited about Red Dead. I think it looks great. Every trailer entices me more and more, but I just get the feeling that the controls are really going to suck.

Picked it up and ran through the single player campaign this weekend. It's fun, but pretty quick. Not too unlike the Crossing DLCm for L4D1.

Just finished Bioshock. Short but fitting ending. I assume I got the good one since I saved all the little gatherers.

Jack was the bastard test tube son of Andrew Ryan, born for the sole purpose of one day killing his father via puppet strings (and possibly snapping sweet puppy dog necks). The poor bastard was a living embodiment of everything wrong with Rapture's moral vacuum and the evil that swept in on it's back.

Looking forward to picking up Bioshock 2 very soon, I was sold on that one the minute I heard you were able to play as a genuine Big Daddy.

Hopefully if theres a third one (and since the second sold over three million and everybody loves money, I'm guessing it might be so) they'll expand the story out of Rapture though. The series could do alot more.

My only problem with Just Cause 2 was after I beat the main story and then the faction missions I had nothing to do but cause chaos. It sounds fun for a few hours but it gets very repetetive after you get 50 percent of the map done. Still I logged 46 hours into this game so it was worth every penny.

The sale will be online too. The K-mart rep at Cheapassgamer is talking to some higher ups to see if all these products can have free shipping as well. It's fascinating how proactive this dude is being.

So it looks like X-Com is coming back similar to how Fallout did.

Reinvented as a hybrid FPS from the guys who did Bioshock.

I was working on Star Trek, Tactical Assault for Bethesda when they got the rights to Fallout 3, and they started working back THEN (2005 if memory serves) on getting X-Com, as well as a couple other Microprose Stat IPs.

Glad to see they got XCom, will be interested to see if they secured the other 3...

Anyone pick up the L4D2 expansion that bridges L4D1/2 and has a crossover between the teams?

Got it and will be playing it this weekend at some point...

"Welcome to Noble Team."

They just aired the new Halo Reach live action commercial on ABC. Very cool.

I just saw it. Freaking Awesome.

Spartan III's are weak though. Did you see the size of him? Fucking Pipsqueak.

Yea, I like how they're going more back to Halo: Combat Evolved with the Elites and Covenant being much more alien and scary.

I'm so stoked for the Beta though. The armor abilities are going to add a lot of new elements/strategies to the game. Plus that Headhunter mode sound crazy, and some of the goal oriented multiplayer games have me intrigued.

Yeah. I'm disappointed the Beta is so short, though. It's only running to like the 19th. Although, I'm sure they'll end up extending it a bit.

I just put in Batman:Arkham Asylum for the first time in 3 months. All of my saved games have disappeared. I may have to kill or fuck something in a few minutes.

Bioshock 2, same great taste. Love playing as The Big Daddy, I get the same geeky power rush from it like when you're playing as Bowser in a Mario game after spending years playing as a small fat plumber who jumped alot. As far as starting weaponry go, the rivet gun and drill (hell yes!) run circles around the pistol and wrench.

Just hope the story picks up. Right now it just feels more like an afterthought and excuse to revisit Rapture than the epic and ambition of the first game.

Hows the multiplayer? I don't usually play FPS games online but it's Bioshock so it sparked my curiosity. Not touching it until the single player is over.
