I've changed my opinion.

The Spanish infrastructure is incapable of dealing with a day of snow.

A normal day, 10-15 minutes to railway station on bus. 10 minute wait for train, then 20 minutes to get home.

Today, 4 and a half hours.

Let's say that again, normally 45 minutes, today 4 and a half hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Snow, but places that do not have infrastructure to deal with it are brutal. Might as well just stay home if that happens.

That's why I live in Colorado, the state that has 300 days of sunshine and the perfect amount of snow!!

MOVE HERE SOMEONE GOD DAMMIT!!!

Dayam, that blows. Yeah those cities that aren't used to that kind of weather will be SOL until the snow melts.

First day of snow in most European countries you should always take a day off from work and stay at home (or walk to work, because you'll be faster most of the time). :)

Can you imagine they ran out of salt for the roads over here after two weeks of snow? Losers.

In my second year as a Minnesotan...after years of living in coastal California, I don't sympathize. ;)

Also,

They can't even handle a lot of snow here, and it snows for like five months a year.

Yeah, I would probably bring the awesome quotient up waaaaaaaaaay too high.

Your stupid mile high state probably couldn't even handle it.

And then some moron politician suggested that people without a job should clear the snow, because they get unemployment assistance anyway. Well, looks like demagoguery's spreading in the EU right now like an epidemic of diarrhea.

snowing on and off here. which is especially odd, given that it's in an incredibly warm winter.
