Sadly, I am such a Romero nut that I will see this and probably like it :surrend: God help me

I haven't seen any of his modern work. Is there a single outing that could be fairly objectively called "good?"

I have seen this unholy abomination. There was a free screening at the Fango convention in Las Vegas this past October and me and some pals got in... My god was this film horrible. The worst acting I have seen in a long while. Terrible fake accents. Paper thin plot. Was there a plot?

George was even there to introduce it and I got to meet him and shake his hand but my god... this is one of the films that I wish I could un-see.

Me too. Or I wouldn't say nut, but I enjoyed Land and Diary where most didn't seem to.

I'm telling you guys... if you have or had any respect for George Romero as a filmmaker- DON'T SEE THIS MOVIE!!! SAVE YOURSELVES!

Romero even apologized to a crowd of us at a theater in Toronto during TIFF. He said he regretted every part of it.

I think the best zombie movie in recent years was the remake of Dawn of the Dead...followed by Shawn of the Dead.

All the zombie talk aside, what I am really waiting for is Sharktopus!

I'm in the same boat.

I love me some Romero zombies.

I eagerly await his next one, George A. Romero's BEATING OF THE DEAD, 90 minutes of watching a zombie horse flogged.

So what do you think will be considered the worse trilogy in the future?

The Star Wars prequels or Romero's 2nd Dead Trilogy (Land, Diary, and Survival)?

That's a tough call.

I think Romero has turned into a zombie himself at this point.

I enjoyed Diary a lot. Land I could live without

I actually enjoyed Land. Never saw Diary. But Shaun of the Dead is truly the successor to the original series.

This is basically what I would've posted. I thought Land was fun. At least it had some likable characters and fun gags. Day of the Dead is still my least-favorite, but I have not seen Diary.

Diary was great. Land, not so much. And while not zombie related I really dug Bruiser.

Did I really just pause the Requiem For a Dream soundtrack for that? Wow. I love GAR, but there comes a time in everyone's career when they should realize that it is time to retire. George...

Now that I think about it... They can go on a cruise together and never return.

Star Wars prequels. Land isn't as bad as people say it is, and I didn't mind Diary.

diary was okay...but seriously, the acting is my complaint

I watched the preview, and the hot dog bit was meh, but some of the other stuff looked pretty cool.

I like the idea of a Western Zombie film. Horses and hordes of the undead.

It's already been released in other formats? Now it can't get nominated for an Academy Award!

It's a shame to hear it sucks. I actually like Land despite it's flaws. Diary was an awful film, not one redeeming quality.

Survival is 9.99 on Comcast demand service for those still curious.

And the SW prequels are ten times better than these films. Even a shoddy George Lucas has shown more nuance than anything present day Romero can muster.

Wow. What does that say when the poster is better than the actual film?
