According to our local meteorologist, this is a record for snowfall in North Texas. Some places have gotten over 7 inches.

Yeah, they are saying this is the biggest snow in 30 years now. We have at least 5-7 inches. That snowgirl is barely recognizable and all the grass where we took the snow from to make it is covered completely again. And it's still not stopping.

It's supposed to be in the 40's tommorow, so it won't last.

People are freaking. Our company rented out a bunch of rooms from the Marriot for employees. Which I thought was kind of funny. I just drove home, my normal 10 minute drive took 15.

People in North Texas are not used to this type of weather. We'll freak out over an hour of snow, much less a couple of days of it.

We made a snowman with a three foot hard on last Friday.

I'd post some photos, but his genitals are pretty explicit.

indeed. also, weather like this inexplicably makes many north texas drivers forget how to properly drive a car.

Because they don't get much practice. Weather like this doesn't happen often and when it does it usually lasts a day, or half a day. They certainly have no idea what 7-10 inches of snow is.

No, but over the last year they have found out what 7-10 inches of Keith P. is like.

Enjoy the veal and remember to tip your waitress!

true. but we get ice fairly regularly, so you'd think they'd be able to handle that by now at least!

It's still snowing over here. Anecdotes have it that this is the snowiest winter in over 80 years in our region. What's nice about this is that we always get fresh snow covers now and aren't saddled with the iced over mush.
