LOS ANGELES – "Diff'rent Strokes" actor Gary Coleman is in a Los Angeles hospital for tests after complaining that he didn't feel well.

Coleman's agent, Robert Malcolm, says the 41-year-old actor was doing promotional work at a hotel Wednesday morning and went to his room to rest.

Malcolm says Coleman then began feeling unwell, although he doesn't have any details.

The Los Angeles Fire Department says an ambulance was sent to the hotel shortly after 8 a.m.

Malcolm says Coleman was taken to a hospital for tests. He says the actor is doing well but he doesn't know when Coleman will be released.

So instead of celeb deaths like 2009, we'll get celeb hospitalizations?

I don't know, there's still room for a "Police are looking for a man known only as "the Gooch" to bring in for questioning".

I think his freaky ginger step-brother put something in his hot chocolate.

Incidentally, anyone else remember the episode where Arnold and Willis witness a new friend of theirs have a seizure and their response is to make fun of her? Bet he's feeling bad about that right about now.

Coleman's hospitalized again - in critical condition (and, according to this morning's news, on life support):

Actor Gary Coleman, famous for the TV series "Diff'rent Strokes," has been hospitalized in Utah after injuring his head in a fall, his brother-in-law said.

The entertainment Web site TMZ said Thursday the 42-year-old actor was in critical condition. Citing sources, the Web site reported Coleman was admitted to the hospital Wednesday after being taken by an ambulance from his home at about 12:50 p.m.

His brother-in-law said Coleman suffered the injury in a fall at his home.

Coleman was hospitalized in the Los Angeles area in February after suffering an apparent seizure. He suffers from congenital kidney disease and was previously hospitalized after suffering a seizure in Los Angeles in January.

He only fell about 8 inches, but that's still a life threatening distance for him.

I read this as Gary Oldman at first.

I didn't realize it until the diff'rent stroke joke.
