Trailer got me giddy when I saw it before Sherlock Holmes. Can't wait!

LOL

It's like a Nightmare On Riddler Street, but not in the suburbs, and with a huge budget.

Ellen Page is in this, and she looks her usual cute.

even though I have no idea what it's about, I'll still see it.

Have to. As a card carrying Bat-Fan I owe christopher nolan a ticket to every single one of his movies from now on.

C'mon, even without TDK and BB, doesn't he get enough props for Memento, Following and The Prestige?

Not to mention Di Caprio hasn't done wrong since Catch Me If You Can.

Oh of course. It helps greatly that all his movies are great and amazing.

Just, Batman comes first. :)

I mean, when you think about it, really think about it, what he's done for the live action Batman franchise on purely superficial levels is outstanding.

I'm not crazy about Nolan, but that shot of the folding city was imo, one of the most weird-yet-beautifully impressive things I have ever seen. I also like the tagline ofthe film...

That was my first reaction. Memento is still my favorite independent movie of all time. :)

Great. When the trailer actually gives me a clue what the movie is about maybe then I'll care. So far I can only make assumptions and the assumption that trailer lends itself to in my mind is 'Dark City 2'.

Hopefully it's not a woman's mind. That would take forever to make any sense out of it.

In my mind, every suspect would be a hot Amazonian woman.

Iiiii dunno... I got more of a sense of industrial espionage taking place in someone's mind. Simply solving a crime would beg comparisons to The Cell. This seems different.

Either way, you're right, it looks very, VERY cool. A new Nolan movie is always an event.

Cannot wait. Best trailer that played in front of Sherlock Holmes. Amazing cast of older and younger talent. Leo is the man. Can't wait for Shutter Island.

yeah, him working with the best directors in the world on the best scripts of this century instead of doing anything even remotely resembling standard hollywood fare. what an asshole :)

No, seriously, I'm not reading it. If anyone reads it, do tell me if it's good and if it sounds plausible.

Good is subjective, and plausible...well, it mostly takes place in dreams, so it allows for a little rule-bending I suppose...

The tagline is "Your mind is the scene of a crime." My guess is it's not about solving crimes within the mind but about committing crimes (stealing ideas) within the mind.

I'm not clicking on that link but if it has anything do with the main character being paraplegic then it's a hoax/fake synopsis put out by Nolan himself.

LOL What I read sounds like it could be the real plot, but who knows...

Since Di Caprio is a CEO type, my guess is that he steals "ideas" from competitors. Joseph Gordon Levitt could be his evil boss, but I think he looks too young. He is probably a friend.

And Ellen Page is my love interest. Err, I mean, his.

Plausible as in "it could possibly be the actual movie plot". :)
