didn't see one so i'm just reposting this from the bought/thought thread

spider-woman- i think with this issue maleev has become my favorite comic artist of all time. my one complaint would be a certain stiffness to the panels, a little too posed, but this stuff is still just jaw-droppingly fantastic. bendis really explores the creepiness to jessica and viper's relationship. i'm liking this series, but i am having some problems warming to the character of jessica drew. since all the rest of the time she's been back she's been a skrull, i feel like i just don't know her that well. her original series is before my time, so i havent ever really read her before. i would like to see some internal characterization instead of just how she responds to the situation she finds herself in. still, a great read with spectacular art.

This issue concludes with an unforgettable image -- the kind of situation that everything from "Secret Invasion" onward has built towards. And because Bendis makes the moment feel earned, and because Maleev makes it all look sad and powerful and charged with tension, it's a strong cliffhanger. This is good comics, whether or not it works when delivered on iTunes.

This is what I posted in another thread-

Spider-Woman #3 was fantastic. It really reminds me of Alias in a lot of ways, and if it keeps up this level of quality, I see it quickly becoming my favorite of Bendis' Marvel work since Alias.

blah blah blah....the arts fantastic. thinks thats been said enough times already :D

the book though read great. having bought all the motion comics thru itunes I thought I was going to be bored reading the actual issue, but despite my knowledge of what was going to happen it was still compelling. The layouts of the panels leading up the revelation on the last page where just amazing. Hmm, guess that was another art compliment

What happened to the original cover? If it was talked about, I missed it.
