An "ectoplasm shot" that tasted like everclear and toothpaste
A Johnny Cash tribute band
Watching the MST3K episode Sampson Vs. the Vampire Women on a big projection screen
My best friend playing drums in a creepy rooster mask
Randomly meeting a girl from Atlanta that told us, "I love homos and guns!"
She also was looking for a baby for her Halloween costume, which led me to asking if it could be Chinese
More indie kids with beards than I've ever seen in one place watching the bearded frontman of Pedro the Lion perform with an all-bearded band
Sleeping on a fold-out couch for four straight nights
Introducing my best friend to the song "Childrens' Day at the Morgue"
