Seriously? I just wanted to get somewhat of a concensus on this.
I thought #1 was a fairly strong issue, and I actually am quite excited for it to be coming out. How about the rest of youse? Did anyone like Quesada's writing, for that matter?
I'm waiting for the TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTrade.

No.
I care about as much as I care about Spider-man/Black Cat or DD: Target.

I wasnt even interested when it was announced in the first place

I am no longer interested. Same with Spidey/Black Cat and Daredevil: Bullseye.

I never really cared in the first place. My original intention was to buy the trade, but I saw the way Quesada changed up his art style and made DD look like he'd swallowed a chest of drawers, and I decided I'd only buy it if it got good reviews.

Its way to late. I might still pick it up cause I love DD.

Sure, why not. I thought #1 was an alright issue.

I don't really remember being all that bowled over by the first issue. But the delay itself really hasn't had any effect on whether or not I'll pick up the next issue; I'll still get those last issues of Kevin Smith's BLACK CAT mini-series whenever they finally come out.

I'm buying the hardcover the month of its release, as I planned to when it was first announced. Joe Quesada's return to Daredevil? Without a doubt.

I'll probably still buy the last issues of SM/BC, just to find out how the cliffhanger ends, but not the others. They just don't interest me.

No.
I care about as much as I care about Spider-man/Black Cat or DD: Target.
So you'll defintely be buying them when they come out? Okay, just wanted to make sure.

I already missed the first issue, so I'll just pick up the trade. Besides, I'd hate to be buying the issues and have to wait this long in between.

I really, really liked that idea someone (can't remember who, sorry) had awhile back about folding DD: Father into the ongoing DD title, as a sort of 'in-between' arc between Bendis' run and Brubaker's run. :p
Of course, I could've said the same thing about DD: Redemption...I really enjoyed the first issue of that.

It's no longer a matter of whether it's any good or not, it is a matter of Joe Q has the scuples of a bad lawyer.

Yes, lateness in comics doesn't bother me at all. I just re-read the 1st issue to Father and the issues to Spiderman/Blackcat yesterday.

There's lateness, and then there's Quesada/Smith lateness. You are a very patient man.

Eh, my advice is to just read something in between. Yes I know that it's been forever but still. Plus it also helps when you read 55 monthly comics a month.

Let's see, you can find my copy of Daredevil:Father and Daredevil/Bullseye The Target on eBay, so I'm thinking that I don't care anymore.

I gave the first issue a shot and didn't really find it to my liking, so... nope.

I still care. Quesada's art was exceptionally awesome. His experimentation with shapes is refreshing. Miki's brush work is great, too. Compliments Quesada's art well. And I like the simple gestures Quesada is doing in grand splashes. Kinda settles down the BIG MOMENT that a splash is supposed to be and emphasizes the drama instead of the action.
It's like watching Kurosawa at his best.
I'm anxious to see the rest of the story.
