Chris Sims of The ISB (http://www.the-isb.com) does a podcast called War Rocket Ajax. I am on the newest episode:

http://warrocketajax.com/2009/10/05/episode-7-peace-rocket-ajax-w-benito-cereno/

In it, I talk about Hector Plasm, my upcoming run on the Tick, the secret origins of Tales from the Bully Pulpit, and embarrassing episodes from my past including my "rivalry" with Matt Fraction, which, while fictional, still managed to get out of hand.

I thought I would let you know.

I love that podcast. This should be good. So, what is your favorite New Jack Swing song?

That question is answered within the show. You'll have to listen to find out.

Ahh, I listened to the podcast and it turns out the answer to this question is one of the bits that didn't make it to the final show. The answer was Motownphilly.

It was mentioned briefly, but was cut out of interest of time. Sorry. Maybe next time I'm on.

Finally listened to it. Great interview. A few points:

1. I agree 100% about vampires.
2. I'm now picturing a Deathlok with a flintlock pistol and ornate brass fittings all over his body.
3. I've never really read any Hector Plasm, but damn am I looking forward to Totentanz now. Gonna put in an order for the first book, too. This sounds right up my alley.
4. "For I was sore afraid." Heh.

:(

I got as far as the questions didn't realize how long it was gonna be (I will continue next w*rk break). It was weird hearing you for the first time. not what I thought you'd sound like or talk like. Really cool stuff though and fun to hear the background on so many of your comics.

Was reminded of this interview by those commercials for The Vampire's Assistant. Keep getting pissed off by this scene they keep showing at the end of some of them. The main character asks if he can turn into a bat, and John C. Reilly says in his ridiculous vampire voice, "No, that's bull-!"

That's exactly the kind of shit I was talking about, yeah.
