Who are the most popular characters in comics?

I'm going to have a table at Long Beach Comic-Con this weekend and I wanted to know which character would be best to draw on my sketching price list. I know Wolverine, Batman and Superman are usually it but I'd like to hear more names from other companies.

Those were the ones I knew before I knew comics. I think those are universally-known, even by people who never read a comic or saw a movie. The next batch would include:

Iron Man
Wolverine
Wonder Woman
Fantastic Four
X-Men (as a name, not necessarily as individual characters)
Captain America

I think those are known - at least in name - by people due to movies and tv shows/cartoons.

Green Lantern? I don't even know who that is! (Well, I do...but not very well.) I think Green Latern would be in with the next batch:

Green Lantern
Daredevil
Punisher
Deadpool
Thor
and so on and so forth.

Since I'm relatively new to comics, it's easy for me to remember who I knew before I started reading comics. Those first 4 I think are the best known - the most iconic.
