Who's getting these? Well besides me and Magicgamer. I'm of the age that I remember when pokemon first came out. I bought the tcg and all that jazz for a while so I remember every main pokemon game and Gold and Silver happened to be my favorite games in the series and still are so I'm looking forward to these remakes.

Who else? And hell I may even get the Japanese versions Spring 2010 is too long a wait and I'm pretty handy with japanese games.

Although from what I've seen of the remixed music it's kinda meh.

Oh cool. Which version? I'm getting Soul Silver since I'm a nostalgic prick and Silver was my favorite game. BTW I wish I could find my DS Lite so I could trade my pokemon from Diamond to HG/SS so I could cheat the items and evolutions a little.

BTW have you seen the youtube videos for the game?

I'll probably get it. I remember those games fondly. Omega Flight, why does your AIM have 1029 in it? Is that your birthday?

Awesome. Also they answer a question about Team Rocket in the game that has been hanging since the original G/S and the Red and Blue remakes.

And yes your guess is correct.

Definitely me. Pokemon was a part of my childhood and Pokemon Gold was my favourite out of all the games. So either for the nostalgia or the fact I enjoyed the game, I am so getting this one.

Heh there are a great many Legendaries within the game triggered by the events. Hopefully they don't take a long time in coming out with them.

Wait, they added more legendaries? I thought it was the old game with updated graphics and the Diamon/Pearl system.

Well not any new ones. But if you didn't play the GBA generation games it's your chance to get those legendaries. Seriously.

There's also a Jirachi and an Arceus Birth Event.

What is it exactly? Did they revamp Gold and Silver for the DS? If this is the case, I'm buying Gold first day.

I'm definitely picking this up. G/S ended up being the best games in the series by a mile, mostly because of the internal clock, the coolest thjing they've ever done in one of the games.
