View Full Version : Most anticipated films of 2005
I guess Serenity goes without saying, but for me it's hands down The New World.

There's a few still coming I'm psyched to see, Serenity for sure, but Batman Begins was my most anticipated film, and it delivered big time!

Again, Serenity goes without saying.
I won't lie, both War of the Worlds and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory have me intrigued. I'm not sure if that makes me a bad person or not. The new Harry Potter looks good, but I still haven't seen the first three (or read the books for that matter).
For me it was A Scanner Darkly, but that got pushed to 2006. So after Batman Begins, I'd have to say Walk the Line...

I still anticipate the movie's real release, because I want to see this sucker make some money.

oh it's a real movie. don't you worry your pretty little head.
You don't think it looks more like a tv movie then a real one? I'm sure its a fine movie and all it just doesn't "look" like a movie which i like my movies to look like movies.

The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe, Serenity, Harry Potter. Those are the ones I MUST see in the theater. Others, I'm interested in, but if I miss em, I won't be too upset to wait for the DVD. But those three. I'm there.
Though... I'd REALLY like to see the Pendragon Films version of War of the Worlds. And I'd like the chance to see it in the theater. Gimme the real HG Wells version. Not the Cruise/Spielberg effects extravaganza.

I think I'll go ahead and take the word of the guy who's seen the whole thing instead of the guy making an assumption based on 45 seconds of Quicktime video.

Well, for me it was Star Wars Episode III, and I loved it. Not really that psyched for anything else.

It looks like an actual movie, not a TV movie. The trailer doesn't do it nearly enough justice. It's beautiful.

For me it's King Kong.
I'll go see a bunch of movies, and I am really looking forward to Serenity, but the only one that has me completely stoked is Peter Jackson's King Kong.
