ox·y·mo·ron
n. pl. ox·y·mo·ra (-môr'ə, -mōr'ə) or ox·y·mo·rons

A rhetorical figure in which incongruous or contradictory terms are combined, as in a deafening silence and a mournful optimist.

I thought that I had stumbled upon the single best definition of the word oxymoron that could ever exist. I knew that there could be no more pure a definition of a single concept than what lay before me.

It was a wondrous thing in it beauty and elegance. To convey such a complex idea with such single minded efficiency. I was in awe.

And then ... just a moment later I realized how wrong I had been. I was immediately confronted with the true definition of the word. Like staring into ones own soul I was enraptured by what I saw.

Am I right or am I right?

(Also, it's "RUB THE BLOOD," which is way better.)

That was Bloodstrike.

And as we all know, those books were distinctly different. Like comparing The Great Gatsby to How Stella Got Her Groove Back. ;)

If it helps, they're custom jobs, so probably the only two in existence. :D

Oh for sure. I saw them while looking at a custom binding blog.

I just thought it was mind blowing that someone asked to put the word essential next to those comics.

Brigade was drawn by Marat Mychaels. Bloodstrike was drawn by Dan Fraga.

Shades of difference.

Shades of difference.

They do seem different.
