Dominos needs to capitalize on this somehow in conjunction with their 5-5-5 deal

Wow 555 lbs...I'm pretty out of shape in comparison to a lot of people but to get to 555 lbs. That's gotta take some Olympic Gold winning type of eating! I don't know if I could even make it to 300 lbs without keeling over and drowning in a vat of gravy. It's just...wow I don't know if I should be sad or happy for the kid's strength to survive for so long.

He's got nothing to do with Satan, unless you count his endless heartburn as the fires of Hell.

I can't imagine their furniture bill. I'd have to imagine sometimes those two bills are one and the same in that household.

A diet of hohos and twinkys is probably pretty cheap.

I love hearing about people who need to lose more weight than I've ever weighed.

Makes me feel good.

I just imagine him sitting in the corner of his room and his mom chucking pork chops and cake at his Jabba body and he wiggles his piggy arms until the food hits close enough to his mouth for him to swallow it whole

I normally don't care if someone is fat or thin or whatever as long as they are happy with it. If you whine or bitch about it, or talk about how you HAVE to lose weight while shoving twinkies down...well, I really don't wan't to hear it and hope you explode. But, for a kid to be 555 lbs is cruel. This is just another example of someone having a kid that has no ability whatsoever to raise them. You need a license to drive a car but you can be a retarded abusive crack head and have a kid. Does that seem right?

This is pretty much the opposite of funny, you know? A child depends on the adult for basic things such a nutrition. And the parent is supposed to instill things like restraint and the need to exercise.

I'll tell you what though, this doesn't happen in a vacuum. In order for a kid to get to 555 lbs a whole lot of relatives, teachers, neighbors, and other adults had to look the other way for a LONG time.

Hopefully he can get some help now and the psychological damage that is surely there will be reversible.

The kid clearly has some kind of eating disorder, and his mother simply chose not to deal with it or seek help. So yeah the neglect charge is justified.

And on a side note, where the hell is the father? I'm so sick of these stories where the father never seems to be involved at all.

Even more sad is the mother's reaction. Instead of taking responsibility, she's trying to throw around fallacies to steer the attention to other people.

She claims that if she is prosecuted, then parents of skinny teenagers should be prosecuted. She's too stupid to realize that the size ratio is so extreme that it would mean a 14 year old would have to weigh around 20 lbs to be as skinny as her 555 lb son is overweight.

Totally, utterly irresponsible. And I feel sorry for the kid. He's obviously got problems, and no one has stepped up to the plate to take care of him.

Jesus.

I hate seeing morbidly obese children. A kid doesn't get this overweight over night, and corrective measures should have been taken a long time ago. The mother fucked up, the kid's a lazy bum, the community failed.

I feel we should point the finger in every direction. In fact, Kedd, I'm willing to blame you for this child's morbid obesity.

That's kind of the opposite of neglect.

Well, a couple things needed to be neglected for this to happen.

I'll bet personal hygiene was neglected plenty.

No this child clearly has some kind of eating disorder and the mother chose not to deal with it or get help to deal with it.

When he got up to 200, 300 pounds, she should have known this wasn't normal.
