It has been about forever and a year since I posted anything here, I still stalk from time to time, and I figured it's about time I dropped by for a hot minute and updated.

A little over a year ago, I got sick of the retail grind and failure to make any kind of solid financial gain in the comic book world, so I buckled down and decided to get myself a tattoo apprenticeship as a chance to maintain a certain amount of artistic freedom and a career choice that allows me to essentially draw all day. It was a long year, and a lot of financial struggles trying to get by, while I slaved to learn all the ins and outs of this crazy career choice. About 2 months ago I started giving out my first handful of free / volunteer tattoos and I am now a full time tattoo artist.

It's a slow start, but I'm getting to do a few cool tattoos here and there and it's been a blast.

I still do some freelance illustration on the side, designed my first skateboard for Underwood Skateboards,l plugging away on some comic book pages to finish the Tales of Mr. Rhee webcomic, and trying to hype up that Nightmare World was picked up by Image Comics and the first trade comes out in October! Pre-order your copy today!

Dirk Manning and I will also be at the Pittsburgh Comic Con again this year pimping our wares.

Moving on, I thought I'd show off some of my custom tattoo work...

Tragedy and Comedy Sugar Skulls.

Client wanted a weathered clover with the word 'Fish' in it. His last name is Fisher and Fish is his nickname.

Sister Donna sat through four tattoos in one sitting. That's one hardcore nun. And yes, she's a real nun.

So, there you have it. Just keeping busy.
