And even if it is, who's to say he cant regenerate from that?

How ironic, given the last Wolverine teaser image

I'm not sure why that's ironic.

What's with Storm and her severe lack of pouches?

Eh, he'll bounce back.

The Ultimate Universe, on the other hand, will probably never recover from this joke of an event.

Perhaps ironic's not the right word. Just didn't think the first teaser would be connected to Ultimatum if it still is or that Wolverine would really meet "The End".

Does Cyclops have a headache? He must have been reading Ultimatum.

The fact that both images use the exact same logo would make me think they're definitely connected.

i'm basing it on the other 'The End' teaser with Wolverine's face on it, plus in this image, the skeleton has bone fragments where his claws would be.

As much as Ultimatum sucks, an Ultimate universe without Wolverine & where all the heroes aren't based in New York sounds like a fairly promising start to firmly differentiating Ultimate from 616

It hasn't been good? I've transitioned almost entirely to trades/collections, so I've yet to read any of it. Ultimates 3 was fun though.

I think Ultimates 3 was a lot better than most people made out, but I think this has been pretty bad. It's felt less like a story and more like a death checklist.

Shaking up the Ultimate Universe is a good idea, but I think this could have been better.

No surprise really.

After all, the variant covers spoiled all the deaths so far. It's been known it's Wolverine for a while now.

Ultimates 3 could have been good with that general plotline, but it's poorly executed.

I think it will read better in trade than most people have given it credit for with tingle issues

Holy shit! I can't believe Marvel is really going to kill Ultimate Wolverine. This is such a friggin balsy move on their part.

:D That last bit should go on the dust jacket of the hardcover.
