It reminded me of those Librarian movies. It's a fun concept though, and this time of year the old TIVO gets pretty bare.

The best part of Warehouse 13 is the bump where they're passing the football through the MC Escher house.
It's a decent show and I'm giving it a few episodes to grow on me. I've seen better shows, but it has been entertaining for a watch.

That was pretty funny.
I'm enjoying this show. I haven't seen the 3rd episode yet; it conflicted with Rescue Me and Better Off Ted, but catch it on Hulu...so it should be available soon.
I think it has some potential. I like Artie (Saul Rubinek) and I think the dynamic duo of Pete and Myka will play off each other pretty well, though I do think they are laying her past on a bit thick. I'd prefer it provided in more subtle ways.
I'll be watching this and of course EUREKA!

Hulu has the new episodes the day after they air on -ughh- SyFy. And yeah, they're doing too much with the tortured past of Myka at this point.

Artie and Claudia really have a good chemistry going back in the warehouse. I don't get a creepy vibe off them at all. They throw sparks in a good, not really gonna get together romantically kinda way. Interesting that we've got an actor and an actress who played notable bad guys in other series here. Claudia in her younger days was a little girl in CSI who masterminded people getting killed. While Star Trek fans will remember Artie as Kivas Fajo from the Next Generation episode, 'The Most Toys'. The collector who drove Data to break the first law of robotics. When I saw him, I kinda cheered quietly for him. How cool that he got a cool role. Good for him.
That... and the show is getting better and better. Though they don't seem to be doing much in the way of an overarching plot since Claudia joined up. I was enjoying that. Maybe they'll get into something else soon. I'd hate to see this go the way of the Dresden Files...

There are no sparks between Artie and Claudia and there DEFINITELY isn't any romantic concepts going on here.
It's father/daughter, teacher/student, there is an on-air chemistry.

I like this show because in the only episode I have seen (The teleportation one) Saul Rubinek, who I like, was writing in a notepad in a manner I find endearing. Saul Rubinek is awesome.

Yea, it's a fun show and certainly a guilty pleasure. Can't not but love Saul Rubinek, and C. C. H. Pounder is always good. Allison Scagliotti's a little hottie as well...
I think at times Pete's character is a little weak though. He just comes off as being half semi-retarded. And some of the special effects (especially this season), just seem to be downright atrocious.

So last weeks episode (no EP this week) was HARDCORE. I think they killed off like 4-5 fairly significant characters in this episode, most by a sweet immolation effect. This show still can be pretty good if it takes itself more seriously. I'm not saying loose the humor altogether, but they need to focus more in one direction.

I'm still hating ICEMAN being back, but at least they didn't team him up with Claudia this week. In fact overall I don't like Claudia as a field agent at all, she's much better suited to being a support agent/Artie's helper.

This show really pisses me off. If I was writing this show it would be all about the artifacts. Each episode would be half about finding the artifact and half a historical drama about how each artifact was created by the original historical figure. If it were Einstein's piece of chalk, then we'd have an actor playing Einstein in the 1950s at Princeton. If it were Napoleon's snuff box we'd have some good 1806 France period scenes. Granted my version of the show would be a lot more expensive, but it would be way cool, and informative too. In this show the artifact is nothing but a McGuffin, and an afterthought McGuffin at that. In this weeks show they didn't even tell us what the artifact the Jazz guy had was until after the epilogue. Talk about a plot device. GAHHH.
And yet I've never missed an episode.

I've been very up and down on Warehouse 13 over the past few seasons, but tonight's episode was outstanding. I think for whatever reason, this show has very inconsistent writers. Pete's character especially seems to get butchered and maligned. Tonight's episode however felt right on point regarding Pete's character, and also delivered on a few other levels. I hope this show keeps heading in the right direction.

Regarding the most recent episode, here is one of the problems that keeps happening. Tesla's are non lethal weapons. They had Artie cornered, holding Teslas on him. JUST FREAKING ZAP HIM ALREADY. Stun him, bring him back to W13, and sort things out.
