WEEK 64: Artists/ Non-artists draw Ben Rosen's WHITE CAT!

Ben PM'ed me last week if we could do this, and I thought it was a great idea. Here's a word from him:

I, Ben Rosen, hereby declare today, June 17th, INTERNATIONAL DRAW WHITE CAT DAY.

What is it? A day where everyone in the whole world comes together to draw White Cat hanging out, eating soup, reading a book, whatever.

How can you participate? Just draw a picture of the man himself, post in on your blog and hit me with a comment so I know it's out there. I'll keep updating a running list with links to everyone's work here in this post and we'll see how many drawings of him we can get over the course of the day.

For my picture, I decided to honor Mr. George Clinton, who I thought celebrated a birthday on the 17th for some reason. Untrue - he was born 7/22. In any event, his funk music represents the kind of awesomeness that White Cat risks his life for everyday, so it remains appropriate nonetheless. Here they are high-fiving:

thanks, fellas. Ben gave me the heads up last week, so I wanted to do something big for him.

Jef, that was indeed a cold blast/projectile thing from white tyger. originally, i'd planned to do a big side view, Street Fighter panel, with the white tyger saying "hadoken!", but then I just wanted to draw a full body white cat, at the expense of clarity.
