Yeowza! I recently finished up a slew of sales on eBay and a smallish story came out of it with one honest to goodness nutjob. I"m not gonna name names or any of that crap, but damn this made me laugh anyway.

I first knew that she'd be a problem when the auction ended and she asked me via email for free shipping because the item went up to 4 times the initial amount that she bidded (she was still the winner). I told her NO on the free shipping and also told her that the nature of an "auction" is that the prices increase, so be prepared for that in the future. (the woman also has like an 8000 feedback so she knows this and I deemed her just a cheap-o) She asked if she could take a week to pay me and that is never a problem.

On eBay I'm always professional and I pack things incredibly well so that no one would ever get a broken or messed up item. I wouldn't want it to happen to me so I make it all super packed and send priority mail so the customer can have it really fast. This item of hers was an odd and large sized item so I had to improvise to find packing for it.

She emailed me a second time in a few days, sending the payment sooner than she'd asked me and then asking if I'd shipped the item yet.

I replied to tell her I did get it packed and even though the money hadn't gotten fully into my account yet, I'd send it out in exactly two days. Also, that she'd know I sent it out when I left her feedback, as that is more or less my "receipt" that I sent something out. I always tell a buyer that.

The next day she sent another email asking if I sent it out. Now I was growing mad. I had about 15 other auctions to work on and this woman was just piling up emails. I asked her if she got my previous email which had all the information she needed inside it...and that while she was a solid customer, there was a fine line between emailing and becoming a pest.

Another email where she tells me that I am being mean to her and she was only "excited" about receiving her item. Why did I have to be a jerk? lol All I replied was that I didn't appreciate what she was saying and that I'd no longer respond to her emails. I left her a NEUTRAL feedback...which, while not good....doesn't have anything negative towards an account. I said that she was a solid customer, but emailed too much.

Now came the "freakout" email telling me that I need a psychiatrist and that I'm insane...yadda yadda. lol

I just went arnd read some feedbacks and replies that she left them and wanted to put some here, just for that extra oomph.

SELLER:check feedback left for others she scams&blackmails 2get free item ebay notified
WOMAN: Seller is a scam, left me bad feedback out of revenge as you ALL do.
SELLER: as you ALL do? its not our fault that u blackmail us into giving u free items fu...

OR

SELLER: Prompt payment, but streamed me with too many emails after the auction ended.
WOMAN: I paid the seller,I needed updates.Whats wrong with that?Seller has alot of hate...

OR

SELLER:she then sends fake email from ebay
WOMAN: Seller was very hard to deal with,,i believe a very old couple,They know nothing

OR (I particularly like this one)

SELLER:This one is the reason many people quit ebay.
WOMAN: Seller is the devil right out of hell, dont trust him

OR

SELLER: thought you had to be 18 to use ebay
WOMAN: I wish their were some way to prove my innocence.Seller is evil

This lady was a total trip. :)

She has so many other negative feedback comments that I'm amazed she has an account still. The worst part are HER respnces back: "Lets try to stop gay marrage. That is an abomination,,against gods will."

"Remeber people: Only a mind of a child will enter the gates of heaven"

WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH EBAY AUCTIONS? lol

Dude i feel you. im selling YUGIOH cards on ebay (cause i quit the god aweful game) and i put a buy it now on the auction thinking hell if i can get this amount i'll be happy.

So on day 2 of the auction some guy emails me and says "i don't have the money but really want to buy the please let me buy this yada yada.

So i (actually my friend cause its his account) replys and says "if noboady buys this item before the auction ends we'll sell it to you if you can get the cash.

So the guy pulls a 180 on us and buys it anyway. I was pissed but said "hey if you can get the money then i'll sell you the deck ...he then decides a day later to quit ebay and never emails again....

Now i gotta put the deck up for sale again which pissed me off cause i gotta pay to repost it (which i bull cause i never asked fer an insane guy to buy my shit)

So if any of you are looking fer a yugioh deck with some of the best cards out check ebay in a couple of days (and don't screw me please lol)

Well....

But none of those feedbacks had anything to do with me. They were other ones.

That's exactly the reason I don't use ebay as much as I used to. Buyers want to be notified on EVERYTHING. If you scratch your ass, they want an e-mail about it.

I use Amazon a lot these days. You get payment confimation and you ship it out. I rarely have to deal with buyers.

Not sure if you know this but ebay will refund your original posting amount if you got screwed. It just takes a minimum of 30 days and is a pain. I've gotten a couple listing credits and ebay fees credits in the past for phatom buyers.

How is Amazon on ease of selling, listing items, etc?

It is super easy. I use them sometimes to sell my brother's used school text books from college and it takes me like 5 minutes to put them up.

I've sold a ton of crap on ebay, and know what you're dealing with. Most folks on ebay are cool, but every once in awhile you get someone that has to be a pain in the ass about everything. Most of my troublemakers come from people not reading the auction description and then complaining about shipping, especially if it's out of the US. My opinion is that I'm not doing this for charity, and if you live somewhere that is going to cost you $15 or more to get the item, this is not my problem. I have people ask for free shipping and I just ignore them. Sounds like this woman is just a nutjob...

Check out what kind of feedback the last eBay seller left for me:

Excellent Transaction! Customer Found an Awesome Deal with Cheap Shipping. A+

I mean, I got a deal deal (The Matrix DVD for $4.25 including shipping), but the guy is a douche for using feedback about me to talk himself up.

I think next time I win something, I'll leave feedback that says something like "Seller sold great product with man with incredible bedroom skills and a huge penis."
