A character from the book and it was pretty much love at first sight.

Had to draw my own version of the guy

I read Invincible in trade, so I haven't seen this character yet, but that's a badass piece my friend. Good job!

Thanks guys. But for some reason the more I look at him the more he resembles a walrus.

That's really cool. I wish you would mark spoilers, but as usual, that's an extremely cool piece regardless. Love it.

Awesome!!
Though you'd think for how advanced the Viltrumites are, they'd have better technology in building robotic arms. :)

It's cool man, the piece is so sweet that it's not really a big deal. I guess maybe just put the image in spoiler tags and mention that it's a new character from the last couple issues? Putting the image in spoiler tags can only help ramp up excitement for seeing it anyway, seems like a win-win. :)

The firtst arm was more alien and organic metal looking but I just have a thing for heavy, clunky looking robotics. It happens. :)

I like the clunky look too, would make it seem like he's out there having to repair it on his own as he goes around busting heads.

Kinda looks like Wilford Brimley on roids. Not a knock against your art cuz that's an awesome piece just the character in general. That really captures the vibe of the Invincible style, good job. Next issue should be lots of fun.

It would be a great pin-up for a tpb or in an issue. Hell, it'd make a good cover.

A. Huerta, you do commissions?

Pretty nice, but has it been made clear somewhere that he's got a cybernetic arm? In his appearance so far it looked more like a glove. And how tough can he be if someone severed one of his arms?

This interview with Kirkman should answer your questions about the guy.

If it's cool, can I send you a PM at some point regarding a commission piece? I looked through your DeviantArt site - have you been published before?

If you want to, let me know (either here or PM - whichever you're cool with) about what you've worked on and I'll see if I can stock it at my store - Acme Comics in Greensboro, NC. I'll spread the good word for you out here. If you do any Indie work, I'd like to check that out at some point too - maybe I can help you out with that. I'll contact you regarding a commission in the future. :D

Thanks!
