What do guys use for DSL? Iam looking to get connected to DSL. What do you guys use? Have you had bad experiences with a service provider?
At the moment I am looking at AT&T or Comcast.

I use Brighthouse. It's been stable and reliable, and when I researched DSL, prices were comparable. (Plus it's the only cable I-net game in town in Hernando county.)

In the Tampa area you have a choice of Verizon for DSL/FiOS or Brighthouse for Cable.
Most of the Tampa area is hooked up for FIOS at this point.

I'm in Jacksonville (duh).
At my parents' house, they have AT&T. The price only went up once due to a speed increase, and has been reliable.
At my fiancee's, we have Comcast. It is very reliable but they suck you in with some of their package deals and then jump the price on you after 3 or 6 months. Be very wary of that.

I had Comcast.
I got a promo of $19.99 for the first 12 months, then it went up to $50 per month after that.
Never had a single issue with them in my last place.
(The only time I really had issues was when we lost service due to the big hurricanes that came through back in '05, I think.
IF you're in Broward county or further south, I recommmend requesting that any service peeps that are sent out speak your language.
When we lost service, they first sent out a guy that spoke only Portugese, and I understand a little, but nowhere near enough, and the second guy they sent out only spoke Spanish.
It was a little rough for me, but I got through it with my High School Spanish.)
I'm currently apartmentally-challenged, and staying with family in upstate New York.
They've got Time-Warner, and I'm definitely missing Comcast now.
