Cool stuff. The hospital scene sounds completely unnecessary. I'm happy Kubrick cut it.

However, it's weird that he still doesn't explain Tony in an way and just leaves it as the kid being weird.

I did, but haven't listened to the commentary.

I still need to get my own copy of the new Eyes Wide Shut 2-disc (first time the film is shown on DVD as it premiered).

I'm wrong. I think Tony is Danny's psychic subconscious that understands what's going on in the Overlook.

I'm wrong. In the book, there's a scene years later that basically explains the older Danny is Tony.
