Yeah so you've heard all about the Drink Up, so this is the con report. I got there around noon looked around and found Shannon, we talked for a bit I bought the Line, I read it. I liked it but the only problem i had with it was that it gave us too little as a first issue, left too much in the dark but I look foward to reading the next issue. Liked the art a lot.

After that Brian Vaughan recognized me which was fucking awesome. We talked for a bit and wouldn't spill on what he's working on with Risso for Marvel. Met Tony Harris who was an awesome guy. Micheal Lark was cool too, I picked up the 2nd Gotham Central trade from him, which I read last night in one complete sitting, I loved it. So fucking good and I can't wait till the next one. The only bad thing was that I got there late and couldn't get anything from Harris or Lark. Hopefully next time.

We went to the Ex Machina Panal which was great, it was there where I met up With Mike D. Tony and Brian answered all fan questions which was cool, really laid back and awesome guys. One of my favorite parts was when Tony described some of the stories that they might write or didn't fit in JSA Liberty Files. That was awesome since that trade is one of my favorite stories ever.

After the Panal Mike and I met up with BronxRonin and JonnyZ and Forthman. Great seeing Jon and Forth again and Awesome meeting Jose for the first time. We all did our thing after that, walked around. I didn't spend much there. But I came home with the 2nd Gotham Central Trade, The Line, The Hunger, which was awesom, Batman Detective No.27 GN, and the first 3 issues of Atomika.

Everything I brought to get singed I did. I also found out that Bill Swikwhatever was there, I didn't bring my Ultimate HC to get singed cuz last time he was a no show. But my bag was heavy as it is so I guess it worked out.

Here are the sketches.

Thats a bad picture of the UMTU HC because you can't seen the Gaydos sketch, and barely make out the Bendis!

you will soon be hooked on collecting original art...pretty soon you will be buying entire issues of Cassaday's original art from Planetary before you know it.

See, I WISH I thought of that UMTU thing. Getting everyone to sign and sketch in that thing is a hell of a challenge...

I guess that explains it, I only ever go to Chicago really anymore. He did go to Kansas City once a few years back, but I didnt make it. I did get him to sketch in my RR7 #1, but that was ages ago, he also signed a Madman fig for me in his black and yellow costume.

Awesome, lemme know what he says. Allred's probably THE creator that I'm just in awe of. Yea, I love Kirkman, and Mahfood and all those, but Allred's the one for me. I gotta meet him eventually, so many ideas, such an inspiration...looks like I'm going to San Diego next year :-D
