Thanks for doing the Bendis Tapes

Hi John,

I just wanted to say thanks for doing the Bendis Tapes (and thanks to Bendis, too). I drove up to Toronto Friday night for the Toronto Comicon, and back again Sunday after the show. I listened to parts 1 & 2 on the way up and 3 & 4 on the way home, and I really enjoyed them. It made the drive much more pleasant. I've downloaded a bunch of other episodes and I'll be checking them out in the next couple of weeks.

I don't know if it was my crappy old MP3 player, but would it be possible to boost the volume on the interviewees? I don't know if anybody else has a problem with it, but i had some trouble making out some of Bendis' response. Maybe it's my ears. Feel free to tell me to "Buy a hearing aid, grampa!" :)

So anyhow, thanks, and I'll be listening.

thanks man, I heard the same type of story about the bendis tapes a few times this wknd at the FX con, and brian was telling me last night he had trhe same responses to it at the emerald city con.

we must be doing something right.

Hi John

I really love the Bendis Tapes and I said this to Brian at the Emerald City Comic Con this year. The Bendis Tapes helped me deal with my wife’s case of terminal cancer. I downloaded the archived shows and listened to them on my mp3 player at home and at the hospital. There were times during Valerie’s chemotherapy sessions when I had to hold back my laughter so I wouldn’t wake up her up while she was napping and the last set of Bendis Tapes helped me during those really bad days after Valerie died in January.
