How is that last one an easter egg when he's referred to by name in at least 2 scenes?

For comic fans it is one...not really for non-comic fans. Easter Eggs aren't always hidden

George Lucas' son is one of the Younglings killed in Ep 3

More specificly he's the one who attacks all the Stormtroopers when Obi-Wan comes back to Courescant.

Umm...I thought the point of calling them easter eggs is because they are hidden and you hunt for them (like easter eggs).

All three of his kids are in it, as is he.

His daughters are behind the Emperor when he returns to Corsucant after being rescued and Lucas is speaking to one of them outside of the theater where Anakin goes to meet Palpatine.

I agree...but with certain films I think you have to count other things as easter eggs because some have a huge cult fan base (LOTR), or movies based on book and comics...where the fans are going to see them as well as non-fans. It give the fans an extra chill when they hear or see something that the non-fan sitting next to them doesn't get.

Well I think a character who is named and shows up in at least 3 scenes is hardly an easter egg. Why not include Falcone, Flass and Loeb as easter eggs too?

Or better yet...if you want a real one...how about Barbara Gordon appearing in the film?

MALLRATS - Some characters names are from JAWS
THE INCREDIBLES - Buddy gets called Brody at one point, which is the name of Jason Lee's comic book fanboy in MALLRATS
