Went see Cowboy Mouth at the Cypress Bayou Cassino with my girl, one of our friends, my little sister and her boyfriend... great show as always. Im so infatuated with the bassist, Regina...

Anyway... we make our way to the front and end up next to a guy in a wheelchair trying to get up to the very front... but no ones paying him any mind... this dudes got cerebral palsy but he is rocking his ass off! In between songs, he's trying to get the people in front of hims attention so he can get to where he can see, so I tap them on the shoulder and ask them to make way for him... he gets up there, gets out of his chair and supports himself on the barricade... and spends the rest of the night loving life.

Talked to him after the show and this guy is fucking awesome!

Great show, great friends, met cool people, lost money in the slot machines, got to hang with my lil sister... and I didnt have to deal with Magic players till midnight... all in all, a damn fine night.

Yeah

neat.

you know it's funny, my last concert I attended I also saw someone who was wheelchair dependent- no legs past the knee caps and only had a stump for a right arm.
people were totally cool around the dude, made sure they didn't get in his way and all that.

maybe the handicapped like Rock and Heavy Metal?

I work with children with moderate and severe disabilities, and there are definitely a few at our school like that. They really are the coolest people I've ever met, and though pretty much nothing makes getting up at 5:30 fun, they make work not feel like work.

Yeah. With all the bad crap going on in the news every day, it's good to hear stories like this; heart warming.
