Can't wait for Hickman's upcoming FF run, and I enjoyed the first issue so I'm looking forward to #2

What's wrong with talking comics on a comic book board? I'm glad someone does!

I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully it's good through to the end.

But people also participate / contribute to the boards. When I first stared coming here (lo' those many moons ago) I pimped my internet radio show without really participating beyond my own threads.

People pointed out how that was essentially 'spamming'. I thought they were nit-picky douches at the time but now I see how they were right.

Is it the end of the world if folks come on here just to promote?

No.

But part of what makes the benbo so great is it's plugging versus participation ratio.

If you look at the guys previous posts, a large majority are related to plugging comicbooknews (PLUG!) No dicussion, no insight, no thoughts on the book. Just 'preview here [insert link].

Why defend needless negativity? Is it truly helping anyone? Is it actually justifiable and necessary?

Also, by your logic, Bendis himself is a Variety spammer. Careful about those slippery slopes.

Well, sorry for "spamming" you guys. Thought some might actually want to see the previews, LOL! And we being new and all, could use all the "spam" we can get. :)

I have posted here before regarding Quasar, Avengers, Cosmic titles and Darkhawk (CB's board) etc.

Guess, I'll make it a point to follow up.

Regarding FF, I haven't been following Millar's run at all, tried it out but didn't like it. This one however, I have been looking forward to and so far really enjoy!

I think Millar and Hitch are done with #569?

Don't listen to the haters Stinger. About the only time I pay attention to the reviews are when someone thinks to post them here.

As for that, Chen's art is just gorgeous, but I still don't think I will be picking it up. Just not a big enough fan of the characters to justify another title, when I should realistically be cutting.
