I've got a pretty great line-up in my near-future...

3/21: Ballzack

4/11: Mastodon

4/17: Electric Six

5/15: TV on the Radio

What about you guys?

Dinosaur Jr. in mid April is about the only thing I know about. My favorite bands just aren't touring (or putting out albums!) right now.

The National in May and TV on the Radio in June, both for the third time.

I may also go see Flight of the Conchords in April, but those tickets sold out fast. It'll cost me a fortune.

Sadly, ToTR kind of sucked, live.

Their openers, Subtle, were so much better than them.

Thinking about going to see Silver Sun Pickups next week.

Going to Blue October next month.

Heading down to Austin to see Jack's Mannequin in May.

Is it kosher if I just copy and paste yours?

3/21: Ballzack

4/11: Mastodon

With the possible addition of Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings on 4/25 or 26.

Your brother said he's not going to see Ballzack. Could you please talk some sense into him?

I was going to get tickets for that but it was sold out when I remembered. I'm thinking of just going anyway with a blanket and cooler and hanging out on the lawn outside to listen.

Other than Lily, that's probably the one I'm looking forward to most. It's an amazing spring/summer, no matter what.

Wait, I lied. I'm looking forward to Animal Collective the most. Or maybe TVOTR. Gaah!

Our Mastodon show is the 2nd date of their tour, just a week after their new album comes out, which they will be playing in its entirety. Should be a pretty cool experience. Looking forward to TVOTR the most, as they're the only show coming up I've not seen before.

If the QC area got more shows I'd shell out the cash for, I'd go more often. This area is DEAD when it comes to getting decent acts to play. It's depressing.

I'd love to see Mastodon again.

If TVOR's show is anything like it was at Voodoo, it should be a good time. Amplified times ten by a much more intimate venue.

Bonnie Prince Billy on Monday

I've had plans to see Oldham thrice, and each time, a respective calamity occurred that hindered my ability to attend. I had tickets to see him in April, and now I'm scheduled for a scholarship interview most of the day. Maybe it's fate informing me I'm not meant to see him.

I hope you enjoy the show... for both of us.
