View Full Version : Samarai Western is actually a lot of fun!

It's a pure hack 'n slash with very little depth, sure, but every now and then you need a game with some mindless violence. The story isn't horrible, the voice acting is actually decent, graphics are pretty good and the gameplay is simple once you get the hang of it. It sort of reminds me of Dynasty Warriors with some of the button mashing, but it's fun and the character designs are pretty sharp. Plus you can customize your own character as you go as you gain more weapons and accessories and you can replay levels over and over.

Not worth full price, but definately worth a rental, maybe buy when it drops 15-20 bucks. It's definately fun.

I'd rent it first. Chances are you could probably beat it in a week. I've already almost have, I think.

Hmmm...maybe 10 bucks used...still a fun game, though.

Well, I beat Batman Begins in two days, and thought it was worth the 40. Same with God of War, which actually took about 8 hours.
