Ok guys, first off, thank you so much for the support you showed the book at NYCC. I had SO MANY people want to talk about the book & say how excited they were for it. That's mind-blowingly col, so thank you. I hope you enjoy reading it!
So, this is a big week- retailers have to have their final orders for the book in this week, so make sure NA: The Reunion is on your pull list and that your retailers know!
Some tidbits revealed at the convention that you may not have seen/heard:
This weaves in and out of New Avengers, as both will still be members of that team.
Bucky Cap appears in the firt issue, and some familiar former teammates appear in issue 2.
A.I.M. has a big role to play.
This will deal a lot with the history of Clint & Bobbi, going back to their first meeting and even before that with Bobbi & A.I.M.
This WILL be new reader accessible, though, for those who don't know Mockingbird.
Mockingbird is set to reclaim her role as one of the MU's strongest female characters (not in terms of physical strength, but strength of character)
And, this should make a lot of people happy - There is a LOT of bow & arrow action for Clint. A LOT!
So spread the word, get it out to other boards and retailers and then hold your breath for the next 3 weeks like I am until the book hits!
Thanks & Keep Reading!

I had my order in last month.:)
So, A.I.M., huh? Excellent. AIM is so much more interesting than Hydra or the Hand. You throw MODOK in there and you may have the perfect comic!
Seriously though, of all the nefarious organizations out there AIM is the most interesting.

I agree. And while there won't be MODOK (yet), there IS someone associated with him! :)
And what's cool about AIM & Mockingbird is that Bobbi Morse was recruited out of GA Institute of Tech by SHIELD for a mission. Her boyfriend at the time turned out to be a double agent, working for AIM. So AIM is actually behind her becoming a costumed hero in the first place.
And thanks for your order!!!!

Hi Jim. I'm Michelle, the girl in plaid who totally dorked out with you over this toward the end of the last panel on Sunday. I hadn't seen the cover for the second, but dear lord, you lucky man you. These artists are really pulling through on this, I'm sure it's all going to be gorgeous once it's finalized. You'll have to sign my copies at next years NYCC. :)
So, anyways, like I already told you, I am so seriously looking forward to this. I'm so glad you're not taking the easy route, and are going to make them hash things out for real, finally. They really have so much potential as a couple, but it's not going to be easy for them. There's just so much they need to resolve if they're going to stay together, and I'm thrilled that you're willing to take it on.
Speaking of which, I wanted to say, I've already been impressed with the way you're writing Clint. From the promo and the preview pages we've been given, you really have him down. He's stubborn, and even if he knows things are screwed up, even though he's been told to stay out of it, even though I'm sure he knows he's liable to get hit again, he's going for what he believes in, which is so perfectly Clint.
Anyways, really just intended to drop by to say hi, and let you know I totally added this to my list back before Christmas. I'll keep my eyes open for more updates!

Bucky Cap appears in the firt issue, and some familiar former teammates appear in issue 2.
Awesome!
I wonder which former teammates it will be? Wondy and Tigra jump immediately to mind--they are probably the WCA members who were closest to Bobbi (besides Clint, obviously) and served with her the longest.
Mockingbird is set to reclaim her role as one of the MU's strongest female characters (not in terms of physical strength, but strength of character)
Again I say awesome!! :) Particularily through Steve Engelart's WCA run, Bobbi was one of the strongest members of the team, of either gender.
And, this should make a lot of people happy - There is a LOT of bow & arrow action for Clint. A LOT!
Hooray!!! It was great to see Clint using the bow and arrows again in SECRET INVASION, and I hope he continues to do so, even if he stays as Ronin.

Excellent! Glad to hear this. Both the fact that they're staying with the team and the fact that this'll have an impact on the other books.
Bucky Cap appears in the firt issue, and some familiar former teammates appear in issue 2.
Always good to see Bucky in another book. He's become one of my favourite characters :D
As for former WCA members, I want to guess Tigra and Moon Knight, since they're the team members that left with Bobbi when her and Clint broke up originally.
A.I.M. has a big role to play.
Thank you! I'm beyond sick to death of Hydra at this point. Glad to see A.I.M. having more of a role outside of Captain America these days.
This will deal a lot with the history of Clint & Bobbi, going back to their first meeting and even before that with Bobbi & A.I.M.
Backstory is always a plus.
Mockingbird is set to reclaim her role as one of the MU's strongest female characters (not in terms of physical strength, but strength of character)
Very intrigued by this. VERY intrigued.
And, this should make a lot of people happy - There is a LOT of bow & arrow action for Clint. A LOT!
So far, this is sounding better than I'd hoped for. Bring it on :D

Hey Michelle! Welcome to the board! And everyone here, Michelle brought her friend into comics last year and she's created a monster, comic-reading machine! Thanks for paying it forward!!
And thank you for the kind words! As I said at the con, this is going to be a different sort of Reunion, but one that stays VERY true to the characters' cores. And your summation of Clint is spot-on. I hope you enjoy reading the series at least half as much as I have had writing it!
Come back, post often & tell your friends!

March 4th can't come soon enough.
Any chance of celebrating the release with a Jim Hanley's Universe appearance Jim, especially since that one for What If....House of M had to be pushed. Damn Thanksgiving Day weekend! ;)

Doesn't look like it for the first issue, but I *am* doing a signing in Greensboro at Lord Jermaine's store that I am SUPER-psyched about!
