I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm not crazy about the Batmobile. I loved the slick bullet like old versions and this one reminiscent of a Humvee's biggger dyke sister isn't doing it for me. Still a cool pic shot at Nurburgring race track:

I wasn't at first either...but in the context of the movie it works VERY well. You really have to see it in action in the movie.

And it looks a lot like the Batmobile tank from DKR.

I'm looking forward to seeing the movie tonight.

Respond back to this thread after you do. I'm interested to see if the vehicle in action changes your mind.

Yup ditto, it worked in the film completely.

I hope you're right about it working in the movie. I can't stand the way that thing looks. I'll grant that it actually looks more like an armored vehicle than the old batmobiles, but it still looks like a flimsy hollywood concept car to me.

It comes off as anything but flimsy in the movie.

Believe me...I know what you guys are talking about. I didn't think the car looked that great as either a tank or a car...but seeing it in action totally changed my mind on the matter.

I love the new batmobile. The best one since the 60's batmobile. I never like the other batmobiles.

That's one of the things that's really keeping me from getting excited about the movie. GOD that looks stupid.

I didn't like what it looked like before the movie, but it was actually one of the few things I ended up likeing. However, the attack position chair thing, or whatever you want to call it, was just plain stupid.

I thought the Tumbler was going to be retarded but once I saw it in the movie it was awsome. I'm going to get one custom made
