It appears to be a HUGE success for comic stores, well the ones who got one at least. ;)

Kudos on being timely with it right before the inaugeration. I hope to have my copy to read soon; my sister had to grab one for me at my old local comic shop.

It has been CRAZY! I'm not going to comment on the issues some retailers seemed to have on the variant ordering- I don't have anything to do with incentives. I just place the stories and keep the press coming. And boy did they! I swear, I knew that PEOTUS Obama was a popular figure, but to see a woman fly up from NC to NYC...Wow. (I do wish she had found ACME comics, though...LOL)

Somehow people got MY phone number and keep calling my office to try and buy them off me directly.

Fortunately, there should be plenty of copies available tomorrow and next week. In comic shops, not in my office. LOL

This will pass just like everything else considered "popular culture" that permeates comics does over time. However, for those who have copies to sell, reorders coming in, and all the while field phone calls, I say to you: sales and stress.

Alas, that's the world of comic retailing. ;)
