Not really. Just a fun little side thing. It was mostly started as a joke kind of thing with only one person truly taking it seriously and just became another Chat Thread.

I'm doing fine. It's been nice having the girlfriend over this weekend. I think she's going to stay until Sunday. I move back to college on Sunday and classes start on Monday. I'm excited for my classes but I'm also a lazy bum and don't feel like working. Magda is out of the shower now so I think I'll have to leave soon ( :) ) Anyone know if Glenn on the board tonight? If not, could someone show him this post when he gets on.

Glenn, I just finished listened to your part of Rabbitt Stew. Two things: 1) the women in my house love your accent and 2) thank you very much for the shout it. That was incredibly nice and I just had to share it with my family. I think they now understand why I spend so much time on the board. I do have real friends here and you all are really wonderful people- even you, Sasha.

Programming note: This thread may become one of my Suspension Roulette test program threads.

When the thread has reached its post limit (ie, 10,000 posts) and is not immediately locked, yet posters feel the need to continue posting in it, I will lock it at my earliest convenience. The last poster in the thread will then receive a suspension for days close to the number of posts over 10,000. For example, 25 posts over the limit would receive a month suspension. 21 posts over would receive a three week suspension, as that is a viable choice in the moderator panel.

There will, of course, be a buffer number of posts allowed under normal circumstances, as posts may be made at the same time. This buffer number will not be revealed, nor will it be taken into consideration when the suspension is made.

Please consider this the only warning that will occur. Ignorance of the test program will not be considered an excuse.

Never heard of it. I finished watching Generation Kill last night. They replayed it on HBO Zone this last week. Was pretty decent but I think it could have been a few more episodes long. I really think the Baghdad stuff deserved more time and there should have been more about the "aftermath" when all the guys came down off the high of fighting. Other than that it was pretty good.

Nothing like getting punished for not knowing you did something. I can understand for people who keep pushing a thread, but I think the people posting here do a great job of self-monitoring. Especially considering the 4-5 of these that weren't even locked and everyone moved on.

Magda wants me tell you all that while she did in fact sit in my living room and floss, she also did really nice, cute, and sexy things. She has taken up hula hooping- she's really good- so she's been giving me little mini-performances all weekend. It is a sight to behold. Very sexy. Also, she's been teaching me how hula hoop and do tricks too. It is really fun; something you can't help but smiling while doing. Also she made Hawaiian plantains tonight which were very tasty and really good vegetarian stir-fry last night.

It's a dumb rule anyway. Just because threads are usually locked after 10,000 posts doesn't mean people would just naturally assume they're not allowed to post in them when they reach that point. I could be wrong, but I don't think it's listed in the site rules.

I think it's been said before but the board starts to run slower when too many threads hit 10k. 10k is like the optimum thread capacity, and a LOT of mega-thread posters do know this.

I actually really hate our team name. My dad was a big Poe fan and if I learned anything from him it's this: Poe really hated Baltimore. He was only in Baltimore to sober up an was getting ready to leave the city when he died.

Also, while I like "the Raven" I like the poems: "The Conqueror Worm," "Annabell Lee," and "Alone" much more.

The Progressive commercial chick gets hotter each new ad they put out. I want to see her in some kind of insurance porn. :shifty:

I invoke Internet Rule 34 for her and the Geicko Gecko.

Blood on the Tracks is better.

My thoughts on what Dylan's best album is changes every few months.
Sometimes I think it's Highway 61 Revisited. Others Blonde On Blonde, and sometimes it's Blood On The Tracks.

My favorite is Bringing it All Back Home.

It's probably going to be like Pixies and Radiohead with me. I like select songs from the catalog so much that I can't decide which album is my favorite.
