My doggie has a tumor. :(
I always take her outside with me in the mornings to sit on my lap while I read the paper and today I felt this huge lump on her shoulder. Turns out it's a tumor. They have to surgically remove it tomorrow and then test to see if it's benign or what.
She's had this once before, like a year ago and last time it was no big deal. But, I'm kind of freaking out.

She does pretty okay. I keep a pretty close eye on her when it comes to stuff like this. Always checking for anything that might pop up, so I'm pretty sure that even if it's not necessarily benign it probably would be early enough to catch it before it became dangerous.
Otherwise she's healthy as hell. Always has been. She just ends up getting weird shit like this once in a blue moon.

We were talking about Buddy Holly in my Elvis, Dylan & Postwar America class, and the professor was talking about how Holly went to see the movie The Searchers with John Wayne and the line Wayne's character kept saying inspiring Holly to write a song around it.
He asked the class, and I shouted out "That'll be the day." Then he asked me if I knew the song, and had me sing it to the class. Previously he had a kid sing White Christmas. On the way out of class, this hot girl told me I did a nice job singing. So that was cool.

Glad you liked it. I think I'd give it an 8 or 9. One thing that bummed me out.
Back when Snyder started production for it, there was a casting call for a John Lennon lookalike and he was nowhere in the movie. Must have been left on the cutting room floor.

Well, at least I don't have threads about my dating life. :)

That's what I figure, it's not a big deal. Figured it would have been his murder or something.
Who do you think gave the strongest performance.
I thought Billy Crudup was very good as Dr. Manhattan. I was able to feel a bit of sympathy for Dr. Manhattan and his disconnect with humanity. The scenes on Mars were particularly good.

Dr. Manhattan, Rorschach, The Comedian and Nite-Owl really stand out for me:D

Yeah, they were all pretty excellent. I thought Patrick Wilson really looked like Nite-Owl, except for when in costume, I wish he was a bit pudgier.
I wasn't happy with Rorschach when I saw the trailers, but he was really great. Loved the hrrms. I wish The Comedian had more screen time though.

Huh, didn't know about the longer version in the summer. I just thought it was being released on DVD then. Awesome. I'll get to see it in theaters with Darthdaw then.
And we now have a Blu-ray player at home

Yeah. I'm not sure if it's limited release or what. I think it's as long as this one does well, which seems likely. And Blu-ray is awesome :)
