I don't have a car.

It makes me an outcast from society.

I don't have a car. It might be related to me being a poor college student.

I bought my first car my junior year of high school. A car was about the only reason to actually have a job in high school. Well, that, comics, and alcohol.

Also living in a region with viable public transportation helps. I was a poor college student too. And actually went most my freshman year without a car, that sucked.

My first couple years of college, I was poor as shit, so my car sat at home and I rode my bike to campus every day. Which quite sucked in the Oregon rain.

Yep. For a while, I was pretty sure Bendis was about as opposite from me on all issues as possible. Didn't care. Didn't affect my enjoyment of his work. A month ago, I found we were on the same page on one very important issue. Was cool, but still didn't change anything.

You are missing out. There are moments, especially since you fancy yourself as a writer, that are rather brilliant and literary. There are some boring moments too in Cerebus, but he explores the whole range.

You're definitely in for an awesome read. I hope they continue on and collect the other writers' runs too (I don't think Millar's run has ever been collected), but I was a bit disappointed that DC still didn't started at the first issue of the series. Yes, it's by a different writer, and a little different in tone, but it also re-introduces Abby into the series (as well as Matthew Cable, who would later go on to become Matthew the crow in Sandman), as well as sets up some stuff with Arcane, who plays a part down the road.

"Que Donde Guero" and "Girl" have been stuck in my brain all day.

I actually like the remix version of Girl better with the piano intro. That's also one of his most hit-and-miss albums to me.

Also, make sure you let me know here. I don't log in there that often. Usually just set things up for a week or two and that's it.

Wow. I haven't even bothered going into the thread based on everything I read about it here. We DON'T need Ray getting suspended!

The Big Brother curse would be proven right. :scared:

Yeah, I suck.

You do. Considering what happened to my team this year I stopped caring about the thing a long time ago. Why do you think I make fun of you for complaining about a small injury?

I don't see how they'd permanently ban you, maybe suspend you. Of course I don't know what you might have been responding to.

I'm sure we've all purchased things for lesser reasons than that. :surrend:

I actually had to pull myself back from saying something bannable last night. S'been a while since I got to that point.

Does that mean that Brio would have ruled over us with an iron fist?

I wish they would collect the old Archie Comics Ninja Turtle Comic. Even if it was on cheap paper in large volumes. That'd just be fun to own and reread.

As of right now, I've only heard that they're collecting the three-issue limited series that Archie put out prior to the ongoing. I think it was an adaptation of the first several episodes of the cartoon.

Oh, hell yes.

I know! It had its own continuity and everything aside from the TV show. It was great storytelling for kids.

Yeah, though I might be interested in making more after this one. Gotta do something before the trade deadline. And I figured the Amare news was big enough that I couldn't pawn him off on someone else.

Barbosa and Durant for Monta and Billups.
It's really a lateral move, but seeing as I lost two of my best fg% and rebound guys, I figure I can hopefully improve threes and maybe get a bump in points.

Is he still in Illinois? He carpetbagged his way in a few years ago, but I assumed he had left immediately thereafter.
