Quicksilver Green

Hey there,
Over on the Statues Forum the sky is falling. People saying the paint on Green Quicksilver is flat and not metallic. I saw Pictures of one on sale on E-Bay and he looks fine. His face looks a little peachy, but I think that was the lighting. Anyone have pics of the in hand version.

well the glossy one was definitely nicer:scared:....this is why buying from LCS when it arrives is a better idea!

They are both nice, but yes I would have preferred the shinier version of the green.

The paint app on both is pretty good as well, there are some mistakes that I would mark up being hurried possibly
-Blue overspray on the back of white boot
-Bottom of the Green one's "bum", the short line goes to far down

They are still very nice pieces. Interested into to see how the All Blue one turns out.

Yeah . . . noticed the same thing . . . I hope mine end up with a more "crisp" paint job (not that some minor imperfections on his derriere are that big of a deal - I doubt that I'd be displaying him from that angle!).

Unfortunately, some of these "imperfections" remind me of the lack of clarity on some of the busts I have from earlier phases.

Wow , i would not be happy if mine comes with these paint problems,most of this statues are near 200 $ , thats not exactly "cheap", so i think an ultra fine quality control should be done on this statues.For example , the problem on the boot is just an attention problem, the painter in the factory probably don't cover the boot with the protection before using the blue.Maybe some one must remember to this factories how should look a 175$ a mint "hand painted" statue ...

Green would look good next to Magneto OR also with Cap Hawkeye and SW -- Cap's kooky quartet.
