Jeez you're antsy :-P. Seems good so far, so I'm on-board for the mini. I've only been reading for a year and a half, so I know nothing about Mockingbird, but have enjoyed Clint in Brian's books and Fallen Son. The "flashes" Bobbi has and whoever she expects to meet her interest me.

As an old time Hawkeye fan who was introduced to the 'mysterious Mockingbird' way back in the Hawkeye limited series (doesn't get better than Hawkeye battling Oddball in the subway), I can say that I'm excited that they are back in the Marvel universe together. Loved the image of Mockingbird straddling him with her stalves crossed over his neck, brought back the same exact image from when they first met.
Mockingbird deserves to be able to delve into her covert operations past, it's what makes her character unique and interesting. She rarely got to show those abilities off as an Avenger. How Hawkeye deals with it should be interesting.
Of course, my hopes for them reuniting and falling in love in a new and fresh manner are high! Of all the comic book couples, they seem to mirror the 'real world' the most, and right now the real world deserves some love.

Welcome to the board, Barney's Brother! So glad you liked it & are looking forward to the series.
And you get the No Prize for spotting the straddling homage to their first encounter in HAWKEYE #1!
As for her covert ops past & rich unique history, we will very much be going into that...and you WILL see Clint's reaction. It's what's making this fun.
Welcome aboard! Hope you enjoy the ride!!!

Right on. Twenty years of reading comics and I finally get a No-Prize. Excellent. Even better it came from having read way too many Hawkeye comics back in the day.
See man, I told you it would pay off.

From this weeks kind of delayed column:
Our final story here proves that Clint and Bobbi's reunion is very much in the right hands. Yes, I interviewed him a week or two back ladies and gentleman but I can assure you, Jim McCann knows his stuff. The couple continue to try to get used to the reunion as they haven't seen each other in almost 15 years. Also, Bobbi appears to be having a communication with someone from her spy days... We'll see exactly who that is in the series, but for now it's a fun little tease.

Good for you. Now what can I do to win a No-Prize myself ?

Wow, thanks man!!

Ok, here's a challenge for you No-Prize hopefuls. There are at least 5 Film Noir and/or Classic Film references in the prologue. Some are very obvious and some will require Google. Identify three of them (and what they represent in the films world) and you get a no-prize, too! :)
