Fun for a little five- or ten-minute distraction.

I am sure they're rushing Spare Parts Costume Man to print even as we speak.

There's a reason why you use established character models as templates. :D

There are a couple of these sites that are a lot of fun. The Marvel one is really fun because it's easy to use and a lot of the templates are so recognizable that for a geek like me or the boys it's a blast just to move stuff around.

Hero Machine has a similar program but it's a little more indepth and offers some more design options.

Those are two of my kids favorite websites. They could (and sometimes do) spend hours on them

"Will there be enough spare parts to withstand the claws of the fearsome WOLVERINE?" Jump on board Marvel's scorching-hot new title, Spare Parts Man in his first team-up with Wolverine and a MYSTERY HERO!

His gut is fake and secretly filled with money. His codename was a poor choice.

That's were the pathos for the character comes in. She's always upset that she's taken for a dyke lesbian.
Which she is. But the assumption irritates her.

Good idea. I'm trying to think up an origin story but I'm drawing blanks. Maybe I'll just leave it a mystery for 20 years until someone else can think up a good one.

I imagine her "boyfriend" looking uberfeminine, which just adds to the mistaken assumption. "He just likes to wear make-up. They do that in Japan, and it's okay over there!!!!"

For some reason, your superhero reminded me of an incident at a Yo La Tengo concert. There was this photographer--professional I assumed, based on the quality of the camera equipment--who was taking pictures of the band. For the longest time, I was distracted by the photographer, because my girlfriend at the time and I couldn't, for the life of us, figure out if it was a girl or a guy. And whatever it was had a big ass helmet-like mullet. Only when we saw a hint of boobage that we concluded that it was a dyke with a mullet, or a redneck that needed to do some serious pushups.
