That was a great interview! I've been waiting for you to get him on the show for years, though probably not as long as you, John. You go to get him on again.

I love what he said about Superman, observant stuff. Some people just eat whatever the industry is pushing at the moment, but the people who do their homework are worth listening to.

Also, loved the improved sound quality! Very nice.

I drew this while I listen to the episode. It took me from the time they said "Man Who Laughs" to the ending sponsor spot to finish.

John, as always great work with the Ross interview, and I wanted to also highlight the improved sound quality. Your voice actually sounds different then before and so much cleaner. I'm also happy to see the comics medium moving forward with new possibilities in the new digital age. While the motion comics thing seems a little scary, it is definitely another way to appeal to the mass audience and get them into comics.

hey John, I don't know if you recorded any differently but your voice sounded the clearest it's ever been.

Also, when Ross was talking about Photoshop, it was like hearing John Henry talk about the Steam Drill. It just made me chuckle a little bit.

First thing I noticed about this interview. Perhaps the best quality I have heard from any podcast recently.

What gives?

Was it recorded at John's work?

The sound quality was indeed vastly improved. There must be something different. Hope it stays that way! It's much more easy to listen to. The volume levels were nicer this time.

on the sound quality...

due to alex's schedule i had to do the interview from my day job, at the radio studios of wilv-fm.

so, yeah nice compressor/limitter and strong phone connection, makes for a higher quality of recording

sadly it's always a favor to use the station's equipment, so it won't be a sound change you can count on for future shows.

i do hope to improve my current equip, but that takes time and money.
