.....is Ms. Marvel holding steady? (Their sales figures weren't that far apart!)

NO! :(

I just started loving this book a year ago. There's been so much great stuff and more coming from Dark Reign it looks like.

Well, at least if it did end it would be the longest run of the Ms. Marvel title.

Price hikes and She-Hulk getting canceled were enough bad news for quite a while. If Ms. Marvel is on the brink, I'd prefer to stay in the dark for a while longer. Thank you.

I'm starting to get worried.

She-Hulk is getting cancelled? WTF? Tell me this is a joke right?

No joke. On the day the Feb. solicits were released, the solicit for She-Hulk #38 revealed that it would be the last issue because the book had been canceled. Peter David confirmed the news on his blog shortly thereafter.

Cancelation of any Brian Reed book is heartbreaking. Fabulous writer.

Indeed he is. Ms. Marvel's sales haven't been stellar as of late but, with She-Hulk being canceled, I'm hoping that some sort of female superhero affirmative action program will kick in to keep the book around.

I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that DC has more solo female titles than Marvel.

Ms. Marvel is nowhere near canceled. We've got the green light through #50 at least. In fact, we are so not-canceled, I'm writing 14 issues for 2009 instead of 12.

But, as always, the more people who buy the book, the better.

Damn. I know you said you pitched stories through issue #50 but I had no idea that the book has been guaranteed through issue #50. That's great news.

Also, welcome back to the boards.

Great News, as long as those issues aren't as boring as what came after SI... seriously, we need real villains on this book

Do you really think they were boring?
