Joshua Jackson is a supergenius, but he doesn't know what a Caesar Cipher is?

Five-year-olds know what a Caesar cipher is.

And now Dr. Bishop doesn't know the difference between horizontal and vertical lines.

Wow, I'm a nitpicky bitch.

Olivia Dunham continues to be dull and boring and angsty as fuck.

This is getting silly.

We've pretty much had two plots to every episode- altered person accidentally kills people and someone is dying of something weird that needs figured out.

The only one to really break the mold is the best episode- with the magic burrowing egg and the debut of the bald guy that keeps showing up in every episode now.

Yea. She's the weak link of this show. As I've said before, they need to get her a kick ass partner or replace her. Otherwise I don't see the show moving forward.

And HT is right, most of the episodes seem to rehash the same scenario...

So you saw him in the airport in this episode, too, right?

Did you watch the very end of the episode? It went against the previous instances.

Yep.

It like playing Where's Waldo After His Chemo Session.

How so?

Because the guy was secretly evil after they saved him?

Like say... John Scott?

I still like the show ... mainly because it's the closest to The X-Files I can get these days ... well, besides Supernatural.

Two things of note about this show:
1 - It makes me laugh in that Mulder smartass sort of way.
2 - Does anyone have a mint or some gum? My breath is horrible.

I think the show would be just fine if they dumped FBI girl and just made the show Pacey and His Crazy Dad.

While I like the show as a whole, I might have to agree with you. But I never really thought about how I felt about her acting until I read the comments on this board. I think people are a little too picky when it comes to some things.

Yeah, I don't really have a problem with her, but I don't feel she adds much to the show, either.

Am I alone in getting the creeps from her chicken head cocking boss? Is he the Chicken Boo that we were foretold about in Animaniacs?

I'm still really enjoying the show even though each episode is VERY similar with one another. It feels more like setting the foundation, the reality of this world, have enough oddities that they can move on from proving the realism of their "fringe science."

While Olivia Dunham is definitely the weak link, I think the other actors and some time should help this. Her kick ass partner is Joshua Jackson.

Anyone plan on picking up the FRINGE comic from Wildstorm?

I'm trade waiting on Chuck.

I will probably get that as well as the Eurika one when they come out in tpb.
