YES! Was worth it just for that page and seeing Carol dressed as a pirate :) Only wish the issue was longer.

Hope this isn't the last we've heard of Gavin.

I was quite bored with the issue, again it seems the protagonism seems to shift from Carol to this Gavin guy, sigh. I want a story of Carol Danvers being the Best she can be. _have her go up against real villains instead of an AIM created boy. Send her to find the real Wanda and to get her ass whupped, send her against Doom, against an entire invasion of Brood or something, she needs a main villain to fight and my vote goes for Amora the Enchantress

I like the Specials with Gavin but I also like the suggestion of an archnemesis. There has to be a non-Mystique female villain that can give Carol a long run for her money. Maybe Sin could be loaned out from the Captain America book? You know? I think I just realized that there really isn't a female villain Marvel has that could fill that bill beisdes Madame Hydra...
